THUNDERCLAN
WILD BOAR MIGRATION EVENT

NOW UNTIL JUNE 14TH ———— ϟ ☁
A herd of wild boars has been discovered on the territory! After Little Wolf's border patrol caught scent of the stinky creatures, two hunting patrols led by Shiningsun and Kindleheart have had run-ins with the herd, which has already caused a warrior's death.

The herd is made up of mothers and their young. The mothers are big, bulky, and stocky with powerful bodies, short tusks and bristly brown hair. Their piglets are much smaller, with lighter red-brown bodies and dark stripes. They weigh well over 100 lbs. and are incredibly dangerous. These beasts do not eat cats; in fact, they are content feeding on the forest's plants, roots, and nuts, but will also eat any carrion or earthworms they come across. While they won't hunt ThunderClanners and truly have no interest in them, the mothers are extremely protective of their young and will attack a cat if they believe they are a threat to the piglets or if they are found cornered. Their tusks are razor-sharp and can quickly wound or even kill a warrior. They are faster than they look and will give chase if provoked; a ThunderClanner's best bet is to slowly back away and hope they didn't anger the mothers.

The wild boars are merely passing through on a migratory path, coming from the northeast corner of the territory over the thunderpath. Throughout the next two weeks, they will cut through the center of the territory, reaching Snakerocks by June 7th and getting terrifyingly close to camp before turning back southeast and heading out of the territory near SkyClan's border one June 14th.

Characters are able to interact with the boars freely over the next two weeks, but patrols are heavily warned to stay away from them. Even still, they are moving quickly and it won't be uncommon to accidentally stumble upon them. They cannot be killed; they are far too strong and are much larger than the cats. ThunderClanners will learn to identify where they've been by identifying large areas of uprooted dirt from their plowing snouts. ThunderClan must outlast this strange new threat long enough for them to pass through and never return, leaving the clan in peace.
