He hated sitting around. Doing nothing, wasting hours, watching the sun fall and rise. He loathed it, actually. It was better to be doing something than just sitting on your rump all day.

Which is why he just began circling. Around camp, waiting for something. He may have made a racetrack if nobody planned to stop him. And then, an idea crossed his mind. He could go out of camp and do something! It was two birds with one stone. He skidded, essentially, to a stop and a grin flashed across his face. "Hey you guys! Does anyone want to go with me to go hunting or maybe get moss for the nests?"

She has been busy licking where cobwebs had lain across her pelts, the scratches on her shoulders from Tallstep beginning to disappear, to scab over- she was appreciative of both Starlingheart and Marblepaw for their efforts. Her thoughts dwindled somewhere with the good weather- though she had a funny feeling an even worse week approached them because of that- the good prey, and the warrior who couldn't sit still.

Every now and again she glanced up towards him, walking and walking in circles. It wasn't long before that habit broke, just like she thinks the weather might, and he is is sliding to stop near her and a gathering of other resting warriors and apprentices. Honestly, if they were having a conversation, she was barely listening to begin with. Glowering eyes blinked at the younger. "Another material hunt may prove wealthy." Scalejaw hums in agreement, vision turning towards the others nearby.

"I can head out for that here shortly." She says, standing and stretching her front legs out.

Milkpaw had been watching the long-haired blue smoke walk circle upon circle, and with every loop it cause the apprentice to grow anxious, which quickly turned to frustration. When he finally stopped moving and skidded to a stop, the apprentice finally allowed themselves to exhale (and quite loudly, at that). "Finally," he muttered under his breath as he stood up and shook his pelt. The tabby shot a sideways look at the chimera as she spoke, though not with ill intentions. "I'll tag along," Milkpaw simply added with a nod before mirroring Scalejaw's stretch.

[ ༻❄༺ ] Snowlark's ears perked up as his gaze landed on the forming group of cats towards Pinefang's offer which made the youth nod as he got onto his paws, joining the group with a calm look in his gaze. Even with the warming up of the frost, one could not be so certain and let their guard down, especially nearing closer and closer to leaf-bare as is. "I'll tag along as well" he commented, yellow gaze drifting between the group, first towards Pinefang and then towards Scalejaw who was still recovering from her recent injuries due to the fight with Thunderclan, next was Milkpaw who also seemed eager to join in the patrol.

"Both sound like a good idea anyways, never can have enough of those, and with leaf-bare in the horizon, we gotta get as much as we can" he quipped calmly, it will keep them all from getting bored just sitting about doing nothing anyways, better help the clan instead of dozing off as well.

Oh, thank StarClan. People actually answered his call. Well, what was essentially his call. He thought that if he stayed in camp much longer, he'd start thinking and that wouldn't end up as fun for anyone. He was sure his Clanmates wouldn't want to listen to him crying and sobbing. Again. He nodded his head, appreciatively, towards Scalejaw. "I appreciate that." His voice was slightly shaky, though he appeared to be genuinely happy.

Pinefang glanced over at Milkpaw upon hearing the exhale and then the word "finally". The blue smoke tilted his head. Finally? Finally what? Maybe being able to go out of camp? He sat down, smiling, almost like a child. "That would be nice!"

Okay, and another person joined. This was actually more than he expected, to be quite honest. His tail twitched, but not out of irritation, it was more confusion than anything. Snowlark was right, though. Leaf-bare's harshness would not bode well for ShadowClan if they did not have the means to survive it. "I agree," he spoke, though much calmer this time. "Has anyone spotted any good spots for such recently? I believe I may have been able to find some moss clinging to some trees last time I went out on patrol, but I do not know where prey is hiding this year."

He doesn't want to be that guy... He really doesn't. Like, the crabby old warrior, seemingly lurking around camp in search of prey. And in this case, prey was vulnerable younger cats that they can lambast for doing nothing... Being nothing. Jagged stones with moving lips, basically, leering toward anyone that dared to do so much as breathe for a moment. But Pinefang was doing more than just... breathing. It's the pacing, more than just laying around, and if that's all he did, Sharpshadow would presume he's already gone out for the day... but it's too much to be saving your energy properly. It's not enough at the same time. He can't really pick one between being that guy and not being that guy really, so he just... meanders, probably making a stupid trying-not-to-be-judgemental face at Pinefang right now. Ironically, Sharpshadow's being about as useless as he's being right now.

Eventually, finally, he makes the brave decision to do something. Sharpshadow lets out a sigh through her nose. He wouldn't join them— not like she was above it or anything... doing anything but hunting kind of made her sick, is all.

" We probably wouldn't patrol so much if we knew, " Sharpshadow mumbles. And- and she's not trying to mean really... but that's the truth, isn't it? Imagine how efficient they'd be if they just knew were the prey was. " Uh, maybe you can multitask while you're out. " Border patrol- whatever patrol, Sharpshadow's never ignored the rustle of prey...
