Honestly Otter hadn't really bothered to interact with the clan the past couple of months, often stopping only to say hello to his friends and that was it. He was far too busy burying himself in his 'studies' which had consisted of battle training and hunting training with some NPCs and boy was he glad that they had accepted his plea. He feels ten times less worthless (though when you overthink its only just a smidgen) and actually helpful to the clan, he'd help bring in catches in the months he trained with them. They had disbanded in the coming winter month, leaving Otter alone once more. Typical, every day problems for him.

Only thing different now was that he had scars and no way in hell would he ever admit it to anyone, even himself. Completely in denial, nope, even though he'd sigh every time he saw the one on his muzzle in his peripheral. He moves through the camp as if he were lightning, giddy to get to work until he stops in his tracks. His ear flicks. Right... He was alone. His hunt would be just him today, unless... His stomach churns. He does not want to call out for company but fuck, he'd been so incredibly lonely these past couple of days.

"H- Hey! Does anyone want to like, try, try to fish or something?" his voice slightly shakes but not as much as his inner storm as he surveys the camp. If no one said anything he'd pretend like he never even said anything, yup, nothing at all.

an ever so slightly wavering voice has honeypaw on her feet in seconds. it was like she could smell the trepidation in the warrior's tone and was determined to make it disappear. misty eyes scanned camp to find the source to be a tricolored warrior. she had seen him sparingly around camp, their paths likely didn't cross much. she decided to change that today. right now, actually.

the tabby approached with a friendly smile and a wave of her tail. fishing sounded nice. a little chilly for sure, but if she was to earn her warrior name soon she would have to keep her skills honed. a perfect opportunity as well. she could get to know the warrior better and help contribute. "fishing sounds lovely! mind if i come?" honeypaw said, grin never fading.
[ ONE HAZY PANOPLY ]

otterpop's quivering voice garners the attention of the medicine cat, who comes to the warrior's side within heartbeats similarly to honeypaw. however, while the apprentice's eagerness to answer the call is born of sympathy for otterpop's clear nervous demeanor, beesong is more-so looking to busy his paws; the herbs have been stocked and sorted for the day, and he's found himself antsy with the task of finding something to do. even if this something is outside of his expected duties, it is better than nothing. idle paws are an invitation for trouble.

"i'll come along," they say after honeypaw, nodding to the pair in a silent greeting. it would never hurt to keep their fishing skills sharp; who knows what the future holds for them?

"Me too!" Calls Apricotflower as she joins the trio in a friendly trot, her tail held high in greeting. She stops next to Beesong, offering her old friend a friendly twitch of her whiskers, and would do the same to Honeypaw. Turning her eyes to Otterpop, she adds in a slightly sheepish tone, "I'll try not to fall in this time- achoo!" She then proceeds to ignore the fact that she'd sneezed, as if it'd never happened. Would they be waiting for any more? They'd have to split up a bit if so, so they wouldn't scare off all the fish in the river.
