  • APPEARENCE
A small mottled long-hair chimera cat that wears a mask made of wood Pheasant Rush is a small but striking cat, standing at around 8 inches tall, about the same height as an average apprentice. Their compact, lithe frame gives them a delicate, graceful appearance.

Pheasant Rush's pelt is a mottled, multicolored tapestry. The majority of their fur is a fawn-colored spotted tabby, with the individual spots large and distinct. These longer, silky hairs have a smooth, sleek texture. Interspersed among the tabby patches are tufts of soft, fluffy red-brown braided tabby spots along with varying splashes of white along their legs, chest, and belly. This adds an interesting textural contrast to their coat.

Pheasant Rush's body is narrow and slender, with thin, short legs that give them an almost dainty look. Their small, refined head is in proportion with their lithe frame. Overall, Pheasant Rush has a finely-boned, elegant build that belies the strength and agility concealed within their compact form.

    MENTALITY
introverted / introspective / passive / absent-minded / curious. Pheasant Rush is an introverted and introspective cat with a strong folklore influence, embodying the Sage archetype. They enjoy pondering riddles and solving puzzles, often getting lost in his thoughts and appearing somewhat passive and isolated. Despite being skilled at storytelling and preserving history, their cautious nature sometimes leads them into clan issues.

Physically, Pheasant Rush has a striking and symmetrical posture when sitting, but her movements are relaxed and carefree when standing or walking. They use their paws expressively while speaking, but tend towards either long, rambling sentences or short, cryptic quips. Overall, Pheasant Rush is deeply fascinated by lore and history, although their detached nature can hinder their relationships with other characters.

Their storytelling skills can also both benefit and challenge their relationships. While their captivating tales and historical knowledge earn them respect and admiration, their long-winded narratives and resistance to change may alienate others. Additionally, their lack of emotional connection hinders their ability to connect with others, leading to them to continue in their isolated life.

    INTERACTION
    SINGLE ; DEMIROMANTIC AESEXUAL
Given Pheasant's curious but cautious nature, would likely take a long time to trust and warm up to someone new. Patience and understanding would be key, as, despite being reserved, they are intrigued by new experiences and people and will become more engaged if someone shows true interest in them as a person.
SMELLS earthy, mossy, with herbal notes. Has overall notes of rich, damp scents of vegetation and stagnant water; sharp, clean scent of pine needles and sap; medicinal and heady scent of moor grass and heather; leathery and rich scent of oak bark with a hint of mushroomy, loamy forest floor.
SOUNDS LIKE Soft and melodic with a soft, almost hypnotic cadence to it, with a slight measured and unhurried edge to it and a gentle rasp almost. Despite being pleasant to hear, there is a slight detachment and coolness to their voice. Listeners may find themselves entranced by their soothing tones, even as they sense a certain aloofness or guardedness behind the words.
BATTLE INFO A very diplomatic cat, Pheasant Rush prefers talking out situations and views violence as a last resort. He prefers to exhaust every other route rather than actually fight, but when he has to, Pheasant Rush takes on a very evasive, defensive, and even underhanded approach.
    - Will not start fights; would rather flee; will not kill unless absolutely necessary

  • HISTORY
Pheasant Rush was born to Crow Call and Falcon Dawn into a family of dedicated story-tellers and history keepers. Their parents nurtured and encouraged his more inquisitive nature and immersed him into a childhood filled with tales of many things that had happened in the territories and family history. Their family reunions and bed-time tales fostered a deep love in Pheasant Rush, with the cat holding their parents in high regard and as revered keepers of the arts, driving him to try and be just as great as he viewed his parents and to continue their legacy. Their deaths hit Pheasant Rush hard, but they know, deep down, so long as they have their stories, Crow Call and Falcon Dawn are always with him. Since then, Pheasant Rush has wandered the territories, observing the clan cats and curiously bugging anyone willing to talk to them in sharing their stories and experiences with them.
