The air was warm for once in the forest, everything seemed to be reawakening itself from its winter slumber. A fresh scent of dew was on the horizon and the sun peaked over the tree tops as it rose with the day. Bananapaw had been on her way through the forest for the morning in camp, she made sure to be up extra early for morning patrols. The little she-cat hummed to herself rather happily as she trotted along the forest path towards the familiar confines of Skyclans' camp. Pushing through the gorse tunnel, she took in a deep breath of fresh spring air and loosened her shoulders slightly. Today would be a good day! It was just a gut feeling.
Deep green eyes moved around the camp as cats started to wake up from the night previously, and she found herself taking a few steps towards the apprentice den. She paused in her steps- he wouldn't be there. It was wild still, to think of Quill as a warrior now. Not the same clumsy little guy she had gotten to know, but someone of importance. An earned role in Skyclan. Though the thought of Twitchbolt had her turning away from the dens and towards the fresh kill pile, where she settled down quietly for a moment. Sharpeye hadn't come to give her an assignment yet, and she wondered if Chrysalis or Termite would be available for something today.
Though an unexpected face caught her gaze off to the right of camp. Bananapaw twitched an ear and turned her muzzle towards the medicine den. Fireflyepaw and her were not exactly friends per se, she had no ill thoughts of him or nothing like that. Fireflypaw lived a life different from her own and it peaked her ever growing interest in life. Bananapaw pushed herself back up onto her paws and padded towards the den entrance, peaking her head in for a moment to see Dawnglare wasn't in there- good. He was a strange man who did very strange things.
"Firefly? You in here?" She spoke into the den before taking a few tentative steps inside the den. Was she allowed to be in here? It felt illegal to be in here, like some sort of rule was being broken cause she was invading such a sacred space. Even though it was their job to help them and what not.
