— The wind whipped up the mousy furs of the tabby tom. The blades of a thousand were bowing in the wake of the powerful unseen force,
"Ack!" Twigwhisper would recoil from an unknown attacker. Bringing a paw to his now rendered shut eye, he'd rub viciously at it. It was too windy for a normal across the moors hunt, well, normal for his brother. After the smaller tom had somewhat vanquished the enemy that had flown into his eye he'd cast a glance at his more intimidating in size sibling. Jaggedoak was everything his parents had wanted, he looked like he could pass as a brute! Then there was himself.. Smaller and lankier in comparison, so much so that he made a pretty great Tunneler.
"Jaggedoak, we're not going to do anything useful being in the moors like this." The chocolate tabby would start to explain.
"It's too windy and I can't even tell what direction our scent is going- ACK!" While he was speaking another pawful of dirt made its move on him, this time throwing itself down his throat.
Twigwhisper hunched over hacking and sputtering from his assailants.
"I CAN'T WORK LIKE THIS!" He'd shout in frustration, which was one of the few times when he'd actually get loud.
"Jaggedoak, please! I can teach you the tunnels come on." The tabby would insist before taking the incentive to march them over to the nearest tunnel.
"You just need to feel your way through, I can direct you from behind." He assured his sibling.
