The meeting ended, but that wretched look on Figfeather's face that twisted their heart had not. Sparrowpaw's paws are restless as they wait for the crowd to disperse, looking this way and that but gaze never straying too far from the golden molly.
It's only when she begins to hurry off that the chocolate tabby springs to their paws to catch up. "Figfeather!" they urge worriedly, voice perhaps lost among the continued excited chatter. Why was she so upset?
Mismatched paws finally reach her side, keeping pace as they look up at her, gray eyes wide with worry and reflected upset. "Figfeather, what's wrong? Why are you so sad?" Did something happen?
