    Needledrift is a plush short-haired gray and white she-cat with soft green eyes and a misaligned jaw. She is small, petite, with delicate white-booted paws and a feathery tail that is often curled over one of her children or her mate.

    Needledrift is primarily characterized by her sweetness. She is a compassionate cat who has a lot of love for her home, her clanmates, and the cats around the forest. She is exceedingly friendly and does not have a hard time finding companions just about anywhere she goes. She is soft-spoken but extroverted and she finds herself happiest when she is surrounded by her friends and family on a sunny day, digging up snails or mushrooms to share.

    Needledrift has also found her calling as a mentor. Her gentle nature lends to a good paw with ShadowClan's youth and her experience makes her an invaluable resource to those she is teaching and those she just happens to help out on any given day. However, Needledrift is a very proactive warrior and she can become depressed when she is not able to complete her duties fully due to certain circumstances. She has a penchant for being herself useless if she is not actively hunting, patrolling, or teaching during every available moment of the day. This stems from the extended recovery time she went through after the Great Battle.

      Ferndance is Needledrift's ride-or-die, one of the truest loves she has ever had. While Ferndance and Needledrift are a polyamorous couple, they are never more than five feet from the other if they can help it and often described as trying to live in the other's skin. Starting off as simply "gal pals", the pair now has a large and bustling family of eight, with four kits birthed by Ferndance (sired by Pikesplash of RiverClan), three kits birthed by Needledrift (sired by Chittertongue before his untimely death), and one kit adopted by Needledrift (Wisteriapaw.)

      They are very disgustingly in love and will never hesitate to show off how happy they are if given the chance.​
