—-- physically, rowan takes after the father he never knew, inheriting flycatcher's shorter frame, and medium length fur that never seems to lie flat. colouring wise, he takes after his mother flamestar, inheriting her vibrant red tabby pelt and bright green eyes. like both parents, he has low white markings - his front paws have white tipped toes and a left foot that is solidly white. similarly to his father, he has a white patch on his chest as well. despite his scruffy appearance, Rowan is quite a handsome and striking cat, constantly wearing an easygoing expression that makes him easy to approach.

—-- first and foremost, rowan is a good and kind cat. he is relaxed and easygoing, nearly always smiling, laughing, or in an otherwise good mood. he comes across as having an unshakable positive mental attitude and for the most part this is true - it would take a lot to get him stressed or truly angry. rowan seems to befriend others easily and is happy being sociable with his clanmates and cats from other clans. rowan is also quite flirtatious, though he considers this mostly harmless as he would only pursue a romantic relationship if there was a deep bond. because of his easygoing nature and difficulty in getting angered, he can be somewhat of a pushover at times, and might let small incidents slide, unless another clanmate were to urge him to be more strict.
although the son of two notable warriors of thunderclan, rowan seems unbothered and unburdened by his familial legacy. he's proud of his parents, of course, and would gladly sing their praises, but he's happy being his own cat, trying to carve his own path in the world. rowan is a good warrior, though because of his relaxed attitude, it does not always appear as though he's the most hardworking. even his mentor would argue he breezed through his apprenticeship without any direction or strong motivation to become a warrior.
rowan feels happiest and most at ease in the trees. a talented climber like his father, this is where he is most serious in his warrior duties, urging safety and caution among the branches.
