The first rogue Wolfwind had seen this season had been a mangy thing. No fight in her. Looking for a quick kill in a territory she knew she shouldn’t be in, and taking off the moment she was spotted. Such an encounter wasn’t out of the ordinary. She and the others had taken off quick. The squirrel was theirs in the end, no harm done. Apparently, she wasn’t the only of her kind, though.
Before she knew it, reports of rogues were only ticking up in number, them gettin’ more confident huntin’ prey and attacking cats. Poor Honeydapple had been at the end of one such thing. Wolfwind thanks StarClan that she was still gloriously alive; that her uncle had been given the knowledge to help cats like that pull through. Wolfwind did not know her well. Her or her mate, for the matter, but that didn’t make them any less of ThunderClanners. Wolfwind finds the man himself, Grizzlyjaw with a soft look in her eye. She didn’t need to have a mate to know that must feel bad.
Dipping her head in a friendly gesture, Wolfwind makes her way over to the tom. If she didn’t know any better, she’d think the two of them purposely stay out of their way of the rest of Thunderclan. She wanted them to know they weren’t alone, though. " Grizzlyjaw. " she greets. " M’ sorry about what happened. " Certainly she’s not the only one who’s given her condolences. And she knew some folks would rather move on, than have others keep bringin’ that stuff up. She moves on quickly, but with kindness. " You two aren’t alone in ThunderClan, y’know? We don’t gotta be strangers. "
