Nerves dance light - pawed in her veins as she leads @PRIMROSE. and @TWITCHBOLT out into the territory at a steady, unflinching pace. For better or worse, Coyotecrest had taken on the brunt of Blazingheart's training, and that had included her assessment—so this will be her first time evaluating a candidate for warriorhood, even if it's a two - moon shadow rather than an apprentice reared fresh out of the nursery. The unfamiliarity of the experience leaves her feeling slightly out of her depth and for the first time in quite a while, properly anxious, although her faith in Primrose's skills and the presence of Twitchbolt's familiar face as their supervisor helps a little to assuage her jangled nerves.

" We'll stop here for now, " she mrrows, flicking her half - tail up on autopilot, one of the various nonverbal cues she makes use of in tandem with her frequent instructions. The clearing they pause in is no different from any other, a clear disc of fine grass flanked by stout pines on all sides. She nods to indicate that Primrose is welcome to take a seat for the verbal portion of the assessment, and settles herself down with a soft oof as her faded injuries protest the misty just - past - dawn's chill. She'd thought it best to host the assessment early; no time to become mired in anxiety this way, she hopes.

" There'll be three parts to your assessment. Clan culture's first; I'll ask you a few questions, " she mrrows, pausing a moment as she organizes the vague mental outline she'd composed the evening before into a solid set of questions. " First: what are the six laws of the Warrior Code thus far? You don't have to get the phrasing down exactly. " She hopes that if Primrose can remember nothing else from their training, it will be this: the laws that govern their everyday life, the most recent addition by Orangestar at the Gathering a half - moon or so past. " Second: How do you greet another Clan's patrol passing by on the border? " In this, she hopes she has taught by example; she will not have her apprentices being troublemakers on the borders. " Third: How do you handle a potential joiner on the border? What if they're already in our territory? "

" And, lastly: How many lives does a leader receive at the Moonstone? " This one ought to be a breeze, she hopes, and she feels no need to delve deeper into the topic of StarClan. While she herself certainly believed a starry afterlife lay in the future of her Clanmates ( and hopefully, herself ), Primrose's faith matters not when it comes to her skill as a warrior. Doeblaze waits expectantly for the chimera's answer, working to keep her face carefully smooth and neutral.
