Times like these made Kaede fill absolutely silly, sprawled out beside the river, dual-toned optics staring at the rippling water with cautious, but curious hues. Shouldn’t he be hunting now? Not … doing whatever it is they were doing.
Blinking languidly, Kaede turned to stare at Goose, head cocked. His maw opened to ask what it is they were doing exactly, only to snap his maw shut with an audible click. Maybe it was best to keep his mouth shut.
The antsy tom pawed the ground, ears flat, dual-toned optics narrowing. “What is it that we’re doing?” He asked. “We have better things to do.” Of course, Kaede didn’t mind relaxing beside the river bed, but his father would sure throw a hissy fit when he catches wind of it. The bi-colored male wasn’t too thrilled to listen to another one of his father’s many scolding.
