plot ideas.
↳ after his older sister was swept away and drowned in the river, warblerkit has steadfastly refused to set paw in water. his fear has gotten to the point where even the sound of the river rushing or pouring rain can trigger him into a panic attack if he is not careful, and he goes out of his way to avoid even frozen puddles.
↳ deals with multiple speech impediments, mainly being cause by social anxiety and selective mutism. he often becomes entirely nonverbal whenever faced with a situation which causes him stress, regardless of who he is speaking to. he tends to stammer his way through speaking or talk too fast to understand properly, and occasionally deals with an inability to remember words or misuses them without noticing. feels the most comfortable speaking with ___, and will often communicate with them first in situations where he has not yet fallen entirely non-verbal, allowing them to act as translator to others.
↳ raised by a single mother, he never met his father as he died long before he was born. he once felt resentment towards his sister for having known him, hich only feeds further into his survivors guilt. has an affectionate but timid mother, who in skylarkpaws absence has only grown more distant from her own grief and trauma - most days she struggles to care for herself let alone her surviving kitten. was raised in a loving and accepting manner but lacks much of the social skills one needs to have a proper life in a clan.
