Foxtail can see his breath when he exhales. It doesn't feel right, seeing frost cover their camp with another moon of leaf-fall remaining. "C-Come on, let's find some materials for our d-dens," The tom mews to his patrolmates, and he leads them out of camp. Hopefully the frost will be melted by sunhigh, Foxtail thinks to himself, as his warm paws melt the frost with each step he takes. But the air feels.... harsher than usual, as if the cold even found a way to pierce through his thick, long fur.
With a swish of his tail, the lead warrior scans the area before them. Their dens need some reinforcements.... they didn't hold up too well to the fire that blazed in the twoleg camp. The fire didn't even reach their camp, and any cat can see the damage it did. It's best they are prepared for the growing cold.... and he hopes his patrol returns with plenty of materials to repair, and reinforce, den wells. The tom scans the earthly floor, and his eyes widen as he catches a glimpse of feathers hiding beneath some leaves. Foxtail brushes the leaves away, and picks up the feathers, and the tom glances over at his clanmates. "...H-Having any luck finding a-anything?" The tom's mew is muffled, but he asks anyway.
