"I want to show you something" She explains, curt as always but there something close to fondness as she mumbles next to Rumblerain's ear. It takes a trained ear to be able to dig out that sliver of fondness in tone, there is hope that the DuskClan leader is able to do just that. The long grass feels brittle to the touch as they pass through it, sturdy just like fences in twolegplace. These permit entry, to pass further into unclaimed land rather than barring her from homes like their twolegplace counterparts. She tries to not dwell on it, much like how she tries to not dwell on the frost that clings to the ground around them. Coyotecrown can't help but wonder if it's colder residing by the mountains, a terrain that is still foreign to her despite her best efforts.
The forest that decorates their scrublands is rather unremarkable. She held preference to it, far better than the pines of SkyClan. It served a purpose today, guiding her to a particularly nice clearing. One devoid of particularly annoying trees and no stubborn tall grass or scraps of shrubbery that clung stubbornly against the harshness that the weather brought. Around them is only the stars, it could feel special and secluded if they wished it to be, Coyotecrown tends to view it as their own private space in the scrublands. Even if it is likely that others had found it, she pays no mind as truthfully she cares little for it.
The tortoiseshell she-cat looks over to Rumblerain, without hesitation moving to link her tail with theirs as a form of guide so she can herd the mockery of a leader to a particular angle. This section left them with the best view of the clearing, able to stare at the beauty of the starscape that danced and twinkled above them in a brilliant display of power. "This would be the home of this… StarClan of yours right?" She paints a sincere curiosity in her tone even if the truth shows she cares little for it. Anything to have Rumblerain speak with her.
"I try to come out here as often as I can, I thought maybe it could help me learn about them" once again this couldn't be furthest from the truth. She believes in the ancestors that aren't hers only because it benefits her, she doesn't practise the belief often. This space is used to survey, to climb the few trees that are afforded to them in hope that from her height she may see prey or threats to DuskClan. They don't need to know that, it goes against the Coyotecrown she tries to be for them.
