DON'T YOU GIVE ME UP, PLEASE DON'T GIVE UP
okay. this was not how they expected to spend their day but for once... they're okay with that. seeing happiness within their usually dreary clan makes them happy. a feeling they've learned to hold on to, no matter how it got there. as they gently stopped around in front of the nursery, they laughed at the feeling of tiny claws in their back.
"careful, now! you wouldn't want the rabid beast to buck you off, would you mighty comfrey?"
they were giving the kit a badgerback ride. they were being especially careful about it just in case they really did manage to get the kit off of them in a more violent manner than intended. they had no intentions of hurting the little one, though. they just were playing around. they'd forgotten how it felt to just... relax. they'd hadn't been a kit in moons... even when they had kit aged. they'd been forced to be an adult a long time ago so this was making them feel very good.
