For two days he had been stuck inside since his two legs had refused to let him out!. Fierypaw had tried to break himself free, to demand the twolegs to let him out but to no vain. The blizzard had been so bad the twolegs had keept him inside for their own protection. Not like Fierypaw understood that. What made it worse was that he hadn't been able to see Jackdawpaw either. Just through the window he had been able to see them, the two living right next to one another and that was how they had meet for the first time as well. Staring at each other through two different windows.

Today finally he had been able to break himself free. Fierypaw had been carefully planning this out, waiting patiently for one of the two legs to leave the house, to open the door to the outside world. He had been hiding underneath the couch so they couldn't see him, and when the twoleg opened the door...he went for it. With full speed he rushed towards the opening and pressed himself between his humans legs to take flight. He could hear the twoleg yelled after him to come back but he didn't stop. He could make it up for them later!. Right now he needed to head for Jacky. He would escape into the others yard and jump up on the fence that lead to the window the two usually saw each other at. He would wait for a bit as he scratched at the surface of the strange invincible object until his friend finally showed up. The two would talk for a bit before Jacky told him he couldn't make it out today, that he had to return to skyclan on his own today. That was what they had decided on and so Fierypaw jumped back down from the fence and headed towards the forest. The weather was better today, no longer a blizzard but the terrain was awful to get himself through. It took alot of his strenght and power to get himself into skyclans territory and eventually reached the camp.

Once he arrived he was out of breath, and instantly he noticed once he had caught enough breath that something was wrong. Camp was unusually quiet, knowing the blizzard could be partly for blame on that, and a lot of the dens were being worked on to dig out the snow from the entrances. It was a busy day for the skyclan cats but...but he had this feeling in his gut that something more serious had happend beside the blizzard...

He tried to look around after his mentor Cloudwing but little did he know the she-cat was fighting for her life in the medicine cat den after the brutal battle. But at this moment of time he didn't know anything of what had happened...

// Fierypaw has not been around for two days because of the blizzard! his twolegs refused to let him out, he manged to flee out through the door and has come to check up on skyclan! his friend Jackdaw was unable to get out, and this takes place two days after the battle with windclan! so Fiery has no idea what is going on and his mentor Cloudwing(npc) has got major injures after the battle and it does not look good for her!

Many of the daylight warriors had been snowed into their housefolk's nests during and after the battle with WindClan. SkyClan had felt their absence, especially in camp as the feeble and sick had to fight with battle-hardened rogues, but they suffered no real casualties. Not yet, anyway.

Blazestar sees Fierypaw, one of the apprentices who still lives with his housefolk, enter camp with a stunned expression. The Ragdoll knows what it must look like to those who'd been forced to stay away -- they're still working on camp repairs, after all, and the blizzard had done a number on the, too.

Then the leader realizes, He's looking for Cloudwing. His eyes darken. The NPC warrior had been one of the unlucky ones -- she'd fought bravely, but her wounds are deep.

"Welcome back, Fierypaw," he murmurs quietly. "If you're looking for Cloudwing, she's... with Dawnglare and Fireflypaw." He glances at the medicine cat's den with a somber look. "WindClan raided our camp, and she was injured trying to defend it." He supposes he should let the young cat find out for himself just how bad it looked to be.

Pelt a flame in the void expanse of the snow, sun on stark-white- Fierypaw was pretty easy to spot. There was something- some look in his eye, some apprehension. It was after a few moments of thought that Twitchpaw realised what the meaning of it was; he'd not been here for a bit, had he? When the snow was falling... Fierypaw had been in his twoleg nest, with all the other daylight warriors and apprentices. Not the same one of course, but- he'd surely been able to see the snowfall. And that meant- that meant he knew nothing about the invasion, did he?

Blazestar-thankfully, thankfully- broke the news before Twitchpaw accidentally caught Fierypaw's eye and was pressured by his own mind into forming some clumsy explanation for why the camp looked the way it did. Still- he felt awkward just standing here, and glanced over to Fierypaw as Blazestar finished speaking. "You can, uh- come train with me, if you want." Some attempt to be a kind gesture, but he immediately felt stupid for making it. What empathy was he showing? Absolutely zero! Of course he felt bad about Cloudwing, of course- but he'd just stumbled into looking like he couldn't care less! That all he cared about was training!

"Uh- if you feel up to it." Addendum added hurriedly, embarrassment burned beneath his skin

CUZ I DONT REALLY LIKE ANYBODY

Quills eyes narrowed in disdain as they spotted the familiar red fur of a cerain apprentice. Fierypaw. Quillpaw didn't like the guy- not because he'd missed the fight, not because he'd gotten to skip out on the shitty blizzard because he was some twolegs pet, but because from day one the guy had been a snob to him. Quill wasn't entirely sure what he'd done to warrant it, but every time Fiery looked at him, he felt like he was some bug the other wished they could step on, and it kind of pissed him off.

The tabby didn't bother to hide his frown at Twitchpaws offer to let Fiery train with him. Not only had Quill been planning on trying to spend some time with the other - time that would no doubt be ruined if Fiery was there too- but Quill had the sinking feeling that the second the red tomcat managed to get Twitch away from him that they'd start filling his head with bullshit regarding a certain chimera and how they shouldn't be friends.

"He could always just skip training and help clear snow." he suggested unhelpfully, clearly okay with not including the tempermental ginger in whatever plans Twitch had.

Fierypaw was not sure how to take in what Blazestar just had told him so he just stared at them for a long moment like he was in denial. Cloudwing was in the medicine cat den?. Why would she be there?. Blazestar continued to reveal more and...a raid, windclan had attacked them and Cloudwing had paid the price for it. For another moment he was lef speechless, unable to find the right words. Everything just started to spin around in his head. "Oh, i'm sorry...for not being here..." It was rare to see Fierypaw like this, so shocked and just dumbfounded for words. But as his gaze fell to the snowy ground all he could think about was how unreal this felt.

He had never been special close to Cloudwing, he would admit that. The two had come from two completely different worlds. Cloudwing had always been popular, liked by so many that it had been difficult to find time with just her so they could train properly. It had frustrated him most of the times wondering why she could never spend time with just him. Fierypaw was not like that. He was not popular, he didn't even have any friends beside Jackdawpaw no matter how much he was trying to connect with the others it never worked out for him. He was an outsider, at least that was how he felt for the majority of the time. He wouldn't even be here if it not was because Jackdaw find clan life fun and exciting. So maybe he was jealous too. Still, it was not like he disliked her or anything. Cloudwing was not a bad person she just was to nice to say no, and probably didn't even realise how her apprentice felt and now she might never know.

Suddenly, he wanted to change that to put more effort to connect with her...to spend more time with her. She was his mentor after all and...he didn't like the thought of her just dying like this...so pointlessly. But what was he supposed to do about it now?. It felt like he was already to late and...she probably didn't want to see him anyway.

Twitchpaw said something, inviting him to train with them. It was a nice offer he guess, thinking of it like Twitchpaw wanting to distract his mind on something else. He was consider it or if he should visit Cloudwing but...suddenly he got scared and he didn't even know why. So many emotions and he didn't know what to do with all of them. Didn't make it any better that Quillpaw showed up, giving a much unhelpful comment. It made him send a glare to them, a short lived one before he just...decided to ignore them. Right now he didn't want to deal with their insensitivity. " Yea, sure Twitchpaw...that would be nice actually. " he accepted the kind offer not really wanting to go to the medicine cat den right now...He just couldn't. He didn't wanted to see...because if he did the reality of the situation would hit far harder.

It's only in passing, that he hears the conversation. Steps from the forest and back toward his den. Attending... attending, attending to was always needed. Attention for the very same wounded his voice wormed worries of. Jaws full of dying, yellow blooms, his steps slow to cast a glance. Worry is written on his face; jaws part in idle panting, and, ever the magnet for distress, Blaise steps forward. Straightforward, to the point... Dawnglare lilts his head at the apprentice, confirming something that didn't have to be. He mumbles apologies, and Dawnglare breathes a sigh through his nose. As if he would have made a difference. "Mm, consider it a blessing. No more herbs to waste."

The others offer idle distraction; and truly, he is thankful. Encumbered as he may be, he was far from enthused by the amount of wounded in his den as of late. Even if he only delayed the inevitable, he would rather not deal with it this moment. Still contaminated, still not clean, it would likely only get worse. And so, their little plans are made. Fine, fine then. Acknowledging, he flicks an ear, before returning to his business.
