It was hard to believe her kids were about to be six moons. Well, around six moons. Hollow Tree would never know the exact time of their birth but she’ll always remember the day she found them. The warrior was proud to call them hers. Even if they weren’t related by blood. Littlepaw and Sandpaw were growing up to be fine young cats. With a whole lot to still learn.
The brown she-cat padded under the trees. Her paws slightly mudded from all the melted snow. It was a little better than icey footsteps but not by much. She wondered if Sandpaw or Littlepaw had enjoyed the snow. It may have been hard to enjoy with the lack of prey. She hoped that their training was going well, at least.
“Sandpaw. Littlepaw.” Hollow Tree says as they get a good distance away from camp to be alone. Her yellow eyes look over each of them. She had worried that they hadn’t gotten enough to eat recently. “It’s nice to finally get a moment away from camp with you two. I know a lot has happened these past moons. How are you two?”
