Sillypaw paces around the camp, their mind buzzing with thoughts of what to do next. Training with Hawkpaw earlier had left them energized, but now they’re looking for something else to occupy their time—something fun and maybe a bit less intense. Their eyes scan the camp until they land on Emberpaw. A smile spreads across their face. Spending time with her sounds like the perfect way to unwind. They approach Emberpaw, their tail flicking with excitement. Sillypaw’s always enjoyed her company; she’s a lot like them, determined, always set to work her hardest and try her best to succeed. It’s nice to recognize their own likeness in her, and they appreciate how easy it is to talk to her on the few occasions they've talked, to just be themselves.

“Hey, Emberpaw!” Sillypaw calls out, a pleasant tone in their voice as they trot up to her. They’re not sure exactly what they want to do, but they know they want to do it with her. Maybe a friendly competition, or perhaps exploring some part of the territory they haven’t seen in a while. Their mind shifts through each possibility, each one different than the last. Once they reach her, Sillypaw tilts their head slightly, considering. They don’t want to suggest something too strenuous—after all, they’ve both been training hard lately, given the coming assessments for them both. But at the same time, they want it to be something fun, something that will be enjoyable to them both. The idea of a hunting competition briefly crosses their mind, but they push it aside. They’ve done that plenty of times before. Maybe something more relaxed?

“How would you feel about going for a walk?” Sillypaw suggests, their eyes bright with the idea. “We could head down to the river, see if there’s anything interesting there. Maybe even catch a few fish if we’re lucky?" They’re not entirely sure if Emberpaw enjoys fishing, but it’s worth a shot. Besides, even if they don’t catch anything, it’s the time spent together that matters more to them. As they wait for her response, Sillypaw’s thoughts drift to the river. They can already picture the peaceful sound of the water, the way the sunlight glints off the surface. It’s a place where they can both relax, away from the hustle of camp, where they can talk or just enjoy the quiet together. And if they do catch some fish, well, that’s just a bonus. Sillypaw’s tail flicks with anticipation, hopeful as they wait for the other's response.
