camp Whistle while you work {Patrol Assignments}

The days had been quite saddening ever since her mothers stone had been shattered, but, ever the optimist Deersong was determined to keep her head and tail held high and make do. This morning she had been entrusted with assigning patrols for Blazestar and Daisyflight and as such, she would give her pelt quick grooming before trotting towards the center of camp.

She would spot a few of her clanmates already awake and milling about, and she would purr warmly to them in greeting before meowing in a voice just loud enough to echo through the clearing, "Come and get your patrol assignments, pretty kitties. Today's gonna be a busy one so best get started." Once most of her clanmates were around her she would tile her head thoughtfully before cooing softly, " @STEVEHEART , @HUCKLEBERRY , you boys can come with me on a hunting patrol, Steveheart make sure to bring Violetpaw with you."

" @REDSTORM ! will be leading a border patrol to the Northern part of the territory, take @TOTORO , and @TALLULAHWING and @FIGPAW with you please, and @SPARKSTORM. of course can't forget her."

" @BLAZESTAR , if you're not too busy maybe you can take @butterflypaw and some others on another border patrol to the Northeastern part of the territory, save Redstorm and them some walking. How about @ThistleBack and @SQUALLMIST go with ya? Run some of the apprentice's energy out."

A small murr of laughter before she continued in her usual dreamy coo, " @HARPYFALL you can take a second hunting patrol with @BASILPAW . @FLAN and @BATSHRIEK can go with you too."

She would look to the clanmates still before her and would make a thoughtful sound in her throat before nodding softly, "How about you take some cats to check the river border, see if Dawnglare needs any herbs too that may be growing out there that he'd need before the cold takes them. @Sharpeye and @BAGUETTE. can help you."

Looking around at her clanmates the lead warrior would smile in her whimsical manner as she purred once more, "Is that all right with every cat? If so let's get to work. Don't forget to report back to Blazestar and Daisyflight with your findings." And with that, the molly would beckon her apprentice to her with a flick of her tail and begin to walk over to the entrance to wait for the rest of her patrol.

The northern part of the border? Uh... Figpaw tries to remember what the cats around her told her when it came to directions. Sout was that way... west was this way... north was... that way? Or was that east? Or... was north actually that way? Amber eyes narrow in confusion, que a cartoon Figpaw scratching at her head.

But either way... a patrol was a patrol, should be fun right? She looks to her patrol mates with a smile, ready to head out when they were.​

☁ Sharpeye listened carefully before giving a nod. Right, now he just needed to find Churrodream and make a start on the patrol. That should be straightforward enough. Maybe they'd even finish early... Wishful thinking.

) "Sweet! So, ya ready to head out, Figpaw?" Totoro beamed a wide smile as he plodded up beside the apprentice, inadvertently casting a rather large shadow over her. He couldn't help it. Still, he was eager to get started on his assigned duty. His first big duty that is!​

( ☼ ) hearing his name among a few other for the hunting patrol, the southern accented tom found himself moving through the crowd to gather alongside steveheart, deersong and their apprentices with a warm smile gracing his maw. "ah'm all ready to go if ya'll are!" ​
