"Cubkit, dear," Swansong calls softly. She lays merely a fox-length from the kit, head resting upon her paws. Half-lidded eyes peer lazy up at the small gaggle of kits - the pack is still as thick as ever. Even as they integrate, there is still a wildness in each of them.
Cubkit, named in tandem with her more skittish sibling, wears that wildness in the glint of teeth and the bark of her loud voice. Children of the snapping fox's jaw as much as any mother. She watches as a plump frog is tugged at, a catch from earlier given straight to the hungry pack. "Do... try to share, mm...? We are all hungry, remember..." Her voice lifts in a gentle lilt, never quite scolding.
