Oh, the joy of a successful hunt in leafbare. She had to catch her breath, it was a tense chase. The rabbit had nearly gotten away. But there she stood with a decent sized rabbit at her paws.
Jasperglare wasn't so lucky, she noticed as he came trudging over with a more pitiful looking rabbit. He looked just as bad, but he still kept his unnerving grin.
"I caught a rabbit." He said.
No shit.
"Well, mines better." Spiderbloom replied looking to her catch with a prideful grin.
"UGH it is."
"Let's get these home. Some cats still haven't eaten."
"When did you become so CHARITABLE."
Spiderbloom scoffed. "Can't survive on an empty stomach, stupid."
The two made their way back to camp, Spiderbloom taking the lead across the snow blanketed moors. She didn't announce her arrival to camp, she simply placed her rabbit down on the ground where the fresh kill pile was supposed to be. Jasperglare tossed his beside it and promptly made his way to a far corner of the camp to curl up and wallow in sickness.
But Spiderbloom stayed, grooming her paws from a hunt well done. She briefly worried about Jasperglare, but not for long. Guy has fun smacking coyote snoots, he's fine.
"It's hard being the functional one..." She muttered.
Not that he wasn't functional, he was just......He had dust for brains.
