There are some things in WindClan that just did NOT make sense.
Pinkpaw is still little. She knows that she doesn't know everything. She knows lots and lots, because her parents are so smart, but now that she's an apprentice ( something she is not a fan of so far ), she doesn't have time to ask them as much stuff anymore. She'd have to ask Scorchstreak, and if she asks her too many questions she's gonna gobble her up! But how is Pinkpaw supposed to not ask questions, there's so much stuff she doesn't know yet. Such as: does the sun have a bed time? Who makes the SUN go to bed? Is it Sunstride?? Is that why he gets to be deputy? Why doesn't WindClan have trees? And how are there cats that go in holes all day and still remain with super pretty, pristine fur? Out of options, Pinkpaw has no choice but to go to the source.
Pinkpaw runs up to the anomaly in question. " Hi! Uhhh.... " What's her name again? She has pretty pink eyes... she couldn't be Pinkpaw, could she? They should trade eyes, she thinks. They'd still both be the prettiest girls in the world. She trails off, forgetting what she came here for. Oh my gosh, how is she BARELY dirty? How is she still cute, and stuff? Aren't all tunnelers skinny, disgusting bug creatures? " How are you a tunneler? " Pinkpaw asks in awe. " You're like, the prettiest girl in the world! " she gawks.
