Traversing the borders on patrol has become all but second nature to the boy now - his pawsteps sure and steady, even if he's still a bit clumsy (stars, how many growths spurts is this now?) Humming absently, he hardly pays attention to his mentors whereabouts as he wanders, nose pressed to the ground as he shifts about. He's not looking for prey this time - just keepsakes, like pretty flowers to put in his fur or too give the queens. Or maybe lupinepaw - cherrypaw isn't here right now because of the mousebrained journey, and she's the only one he knows of who likes flowers too. Maybe something purple again? A frown crosses his features as he darts about, until paws touch wet with a shriek - oh dear, he hadn't been paying attention to the shoreline again. "That's cold!" he hisses, tripping over his paws in bafflement as he startles - fur fluffing up until he's round-figured once more. Grey blue eyes look up as he regains his balance, only to freeze - it seems there's a witness to his mistake. Oh ell - teeth flash as he grins anyways - waving one white-dipped paw frantically at the figure across the border as though nothing had happened - "Hello there! Hi! Are you on patrol too?" .

₊· ͟͟͞͞➳˚❥ Beepaw kept attentive and close to Smokethroat's side whenever they were out during a patrol though this time she had lagged behind to get a good glimpse of everything around her so she could remember it all. After all, she needed to know where everything was and familiarize herself with her home like a good warrior would and feels like she has a lot of work to do if she ever wants to try walking in the same pawsteps as her father. The sound of a hiss makes her fur stand in the slightest and she whips around to see that it was another cat from the opposite shoreline with both of her ears perking forward, she glances over her shoulder to her parent before letting herself lag back just a little focusing her attention to Eggpaw. He must've stepped into the river and its enough to make a smile appear on her maw knowing that the other clans weren't used to the river like she and the rest of her clanmates were.

A snort of amusement leaving her as he asks if she's on patrol too and Beepaw nods her head slowly before speaking "Yes I am." Her bicolored gaze focused on him only to add on with her whiskers twitching "And are you trying to go for a swim?" She teases lightly and tilts her head to the side sweeping her bottlebrush tail over her paws.
