Diable thinks that she had seen Ravendusk once or twice before in the camp, but she is uncertain at most, having many faces with their names to memorize for some days after Blackwater saved her from the gaping abyss of her death.

Curiosity is a bright light that Diable forever bears close to her burning heart, the lights of the sky can never be able to outshine it. She hoped she could get to properly interact with Ravendusk and learn more about him. During a serene evening, however, when she finds the warrior all alone at the camp's side, well familiar with the heavy presence of isolation, concern runs deep through her. In a few ached heartbeats, Diable sees herself at the corner of a large room, trying to make her existence small to smaller to nothing. Unlike the beloved others of her siblings, she was nothing

A deep exhale leaves Diable who quickly leaves Ravendusk alone, hopefully before they can catch her presence. She scuttles near the nursery den and digs through a hole. There, exists several previous shells and minerals, greeting her with brilliant glints that bring a small smile on her muzzle. Hesitation falls when she reaches to a smooth stone that exists in raging red, but at the thought Ravendusk can appreciate this kind gesture, she takes it and fills her stash before returning to the lonesome warrior. In his way, she dips her head, the stone then placed before him.

"Hello, you're Ravendusk, right?" Diable greets gently to the warrior with a polite inquiry, making certain it's his name. Her eyes twinkle at the thought of how cool he sounds by that address, mysterious and magical. She wants to have a Clan name as cool as his. "Ravendusk is a really cool name, I have to say! I'm Diable." Her ears flick and out of slow care, she nudges the red stone towards Ravendusk. "You seem, um, lonely..." A pause falls when a certain memory flicker, then, bearing a smile of light, "So, I thought this stone can brighten your day up, at least a bit."

Only is she a kit, yet, she already knows how the world can be sometimes with its cold cruelty, starting right within the place that should be her home, but instead, it is shape of a grand horror that haunts her in dreams and memories even to this day. They remind her most that she does not mean to continue living, but Diable only tries to believe harder that there will always be a place for her as well in this broken world; she can be loved too. She had one with her adoptive father and, perhaps, she can find a home in the heart of RiverClan as well. She can in here, with Ravendusk.

"I hope you'll like it!"

It was quite rare really for someone to decide to approach them out of all cats who lived in this clan. Most of the time Ravendusk would be left alone to find solitude in his own sorrow which of course was understandable. His company was nothing but bleak these days so surely there where better more enjoyable company to seek out then from the likes of him. There was no one to blame for it, and admittedly, they prefered life to be this way. The desire for companionship had been abandoned quite sometime ago. A punishment set by nobody but himself to keep others away from harms way just by being associated with them.

So it was a bit strange that this typical evening spent by himself alone in the corner of camp had lured a much unexpected visitor. A kit nonetheless. Ravendusk would blink his eyes slowly as he turned his attention down to stare at the young hatchling, unaware of course over how the very same eyes had been observing them from a distance. " I'm suprised you've rememberd my name already." he would point out, remembering this one of course. Blackwater had saved this young one from dangerous water and had got brought in (rightfully so) to become one of them. An decision Ravendusk could do nothing but to agree on. A kit should never wander out there alone in this cold and cruel world. It was quite impressive how quickly this one was learning her clanmates names in such a short time. That good memory of hers would be quite useful in the future.

It was with mild amusement that Ravendusk listened when the kit spoke highly of his name. Cool was not a word they believed to have ever heard anyone describe their name with before. What an interesting way of speaking this child seemed to have. " Hmh, is that so?. Well, it's a pleasure to properly meet you Diable." he would dip his head slightly with grace. It was not everyday they find themselves blessed with the company of a child after all....Usually, he would stay away from them for thier own safety but...never would he be able to find it in his heart to dismiss them if they seeked out his company.

Of course it had not slipt his attention that a special stone was being presented in front of the kit but he had not paid any mind to it not thinking it was importand. However, Diable suprised the warrior when she pushed the red stone forward towards his direction. Hmh, what was this?.

Aha, but then she said something that was displeasing for his heart to hear. Lonely. Ravendusk was honestly stunned with how observant this young child was in a such young age to be able to see right through them so easily...Sharp eyes this one for sure most have. It was an uncomfortable topic to have to address though. Because of that it left him to be silent. It was then revealed that the red stone was meant for them. Diable wished to give this pretty stone to them in hope to cheer them up.

What a kind but unexpected gesture. Ravendusk was unsure how to respond to such a thoughtful act. Gently, the warrior moved a paw over the red stone as he observed it closely. " How did you know...that red was my favorite color?." they mused thoughtfully, knowing it was impossible for Diable to have known. It simple most have been a coincidence... A smile would softly find its way across his white maw. " Thank you my dear, this was a very generous thing for you to do." he spoke with a tender warm voice. This kit truly had a prectious soul to care so much for a stranger like them.

No matter how undeserving he find himself to be over a such kind gesture refused to reject a such prectious heart. It would be a crime to break it. An unjust they never could forgive themself for if having any part in. A heart like that should shine forever.

Reactions: BLACKKIT
At Ravendusk's comment about their surprise in Diable's quick recollection of their name, she sheepishly rubs her cheek with a shoulder as she remembers ( hah ) how she addressed Eveningpaw by her name and the apprentice perked up a bit. It's been becoming common for Clan cats to note on her memorization skill, an ability that Diable herself does take endless pride in. The spotted kit puffs her chest out with a firm nod in the beginning of her response, her forepaw rested against chest as a formal gesture of politeness. "I can remember a lot of things! Like, I can remember many kinds of fish; how each looks and tastes and swims like!" It's not a personal fact she generally shares, often seeing it unnecessary to tell what may not be acknowleded by most. Though, the tentative focus that Ravendusk have been giving, she thinks her endless passion of the aqua critters can entertain them.

In return of warm respect, Diable dips her head back to the warrior. "It sure is! I want a Clan name like that too! What does Ravendusk mean to you?" She has been slowly learning certain Clan cats' names more, as she already discovered Blackwater's. She will get her own in the end. "Likewise, though. How long have you been in RiverClan?" Curious about his history with the aqua Clan, if he had been part of it it since his life's beginning, she thinks about how different it must be for one to live in a Clan the moment they were born. Their values and beliefs could be developed so differently in comparison to those of a kittypet, loner, or rogue. While Diable had received some questionable glances and stiffied comments about her existence lingering in RiverClan, mainly from those at around her age, she is most thankful that there are some at least who are respectful to her despite lacking Clan blood.

Her ears prickle at the surprise that fell deeper in Ravendusk, particularly about the stone. She hoped he would like it, though, it also surprises her to see how touched he is of the gesture itself, then the stunning fact that she got the mineral in his favourite colour, red. A name— Redclaws— flashes, but she tries to ignore its weight. Diable steps back to observe Ravendusk closely, pointing at the eyes and certain fur strands that shift from tender brown to warmer red. "Your eyes and bits of pelt... They remind me of the sun that can bring the sky in the soothing rich red for just a few delicate seconds." As poetically put, her smile widens more when she sees that she had succeeded in cheering the warrior up. With this stone, Ravendusk will be gently reminded as the sun will always rise to guide those forward, he is never alone to continue such a life that can be most cruel and lonesome to bear.

"You're welcome, my... friend—" she internally grimaces, hoping it is okay to address them as this— "Sometimes, a small gesture can make a big change." Small heh leaves Diable, her head becoming high with stance grown strong, proud, like the ardent dawn in the rising and rising and all everlasting. "I'm glad that seems to be a case here I can brighten your day a bit." Her delicate gaze falls on the sweet scarlet stone that is now Ravendusk's for them to hold and love, as be held and loved in red that will not mean to them only blood and violence. "Blue have always been my favourite colour," Diable shares, softer. Blue water, blue sky, blue flames that her heart holds"My greatest dream is to find the Everblue, the most special sea where all water creatures go, not just what RiverClan have." To the creative kittypets and daring loners, it is a kit's tale, yet, to Diable, it is a place that she will find.

A magical dream fallen to real memory her blue blazing heart will hold forever.
