Diable thinks that she had seen Ravendusk once or twice before in the camp, but she is uncertain at most, having many faces with their names to memorize for some days after Blackwater saved her from the gaping abyss of her death.
Curiosity is a bright light that Diable forever bears close to her burning heart, the lights of the sky can never be able to outshine it. She hoped she could get to properly interact with Ravendusk and learn more about him. During a serene evening, however, when she finds the warrior all alone at the camp's side, well familiar with the heavy presence of isolation, concern runs deep through her. In a few ached heartbeats, Diable sees herself at the corner of a large room, trying to make her existence small to smaller to nothing. Unlike the beloved others of her siblings, she was nothing—
A deep exhale leaves Diable who quickly leaves Ravendusk alone, hopefully before they can catch her presence. She scuttles near the nursery den and digs through a hole. There, exists several previous shells and minerals, greeting her with brilliant glints that bring a small smile on her muzzle. Hesitation falls when she reaches to a smooth stone that exists in raging red, but at the thought Ravendusk can appreciate this kind gesture, she takes it and fills her stash before returning to the lonesome warrior. In his way, she dips her head, the stone then placed before him.
"Hello, you're Ravendusk, right?" Diable greets gently to the warrior with a polite inquiry, making certain it's his name. Her eyes twinkle at the thought of how cool he sounds by that address, mysterious and magical. She wants to have a Clan name as cool as his. "Ravendusk is a really cool name, I have to say! I'm Diable." Her ears flick and out of slow care, she nudges the red stone towards Ravendusk. "You seem, um, lonely..." A pause falls when a certain memory flicker, then, bearing a smile of light, "So, I thought this stone can brighten your day up, at least a bit."
Only is she a kit, yet, she already knows how the world can be sometimes with its cold cruelty, starting right within the place that should be her home, but instead, it is shape of a grand horror that haunts her in dreams and memories even to this day. They remind her most that she does not mean to continue living, but Diable only tries to believe harder that there will always be a place for her as well in this broken world; she can be loved too. She had one with her adoptive father and, perhaps, she can find a home in the heart of RiverClan as well. She can in here, with Ravendusk.
