CURIOUS TO SEE US STRUGGLE
part of her isn't even sure why she's here. why would she be? why should she be? she's going to fail again. she can't concentrate on much of anything except for the fact that she was going to fail. her anxiety is going crazy, heart pounding against her ribs as she walks behind lilacfur. she's been here before and she failed the last time. her saving grace was that she couldn't even see the look of pure disappointment that she swore would be across her mentor's face. who knew, besides lilacfur, if it had been. the thought was enough to make her retreat. she stayed away from most everyone, doing patrols and mostly keeping to herself. she never lost her kindness, but mostly all she wanted to do was sleep.
chervilshade had left her behind in the apprentice den and that didn't help. they'd been friends since they were kits, and caterpillarpaw really liked her. they were best friends. and now... she just shook her head slightly, lowering head as she came to a stop, right around the time lilacfur did. she wants to ask if lilacfur believes in her but... she doesn't say a word. she wouldn't be surprised if the answer was no anyways.
