He had tried to warn them- he couldn't see. It wasn't fair, but there were something about these other kits that didn't listen. He wasn't too sure in the first place, as they spoke excitedly in chipper voices that mossball was fun.
He didn't believe it, but he let them have their fun. Until suddenly screams about how he needed to hit it, it was coming right for him- and suddenly, a mossball hit him square in the face, sending the boy tumbling backwards a little bit.
"I said I couldn't play!" He whines, tears brimming his murky eyes as moss hung off his face. A paw tries to smear the tears from wet cheeks, trying to pull remnants off that attached to his fur.
"But you still did. Not our fault. What's your problem anyways?" They were confused, but his ears pressed back, pulling away to stumble his way with tight sobs.
He didn't want everyone to know he was blind. He didn't. But it was growing harder the longer he was here. He felt different, he was different. And it wasn't fair.

He lay curled in a tight ball, sniffling in the nursery. As far back and against the wall as he could be. He was lost, scared, and he just wanted left alone.
