Thin and limber, Maelstromkit is built for maneuvering. The kitten’s body is long, with room for muscle, and large paws that allow easy movement. Mae’s pelt is short, close to the skin, with dark colors in the fur—mostly black, with silver peeking through in more place than not, creating a smoky, cloudy effect throughout. The kit’s eyes are a bright cyan shade of blue, piercing and icy in hue despite the kindness and warmth that always sits within. White trails down in almost tear-like tracks from the lower eyelid, reaching from corner to corner of the eye, and then down over the cheeks before stopping just before the neck. -

Despite Ravencry’s hopes, Maelstromkit is not the brave, strong cat that she was thinking her kits would be. Instead, this kitten is skittish and anxious, cowering away from anything that could be taken as slightly scary. Mae is only brave in one capacity, and that is communication. The kit is always wanting to talk to everyone, to get to know anyone that doesn’t come across as intimidating and convince them to talk, to play, or just to spend time together. Maelstromkit has energy to spare, and could badger others endlessly in order to get attention. It’s a good thing that the kitten is, at heart, a kind and friendly individual, because if it were otherwise, Mae would be rather good at the art of manipulation.
