Cocoshine's world primarily consists of two things: gossip with the other housecats and trying to prove herself as superior amongst the ranks of SkyClan. It isn't as bad out here as she once thought it had been. It's certainly no house- no promise of warmth and food and safety- but it isn't nearly as gross and dirty as her neighbors had whispered it was. Such drama. Cocoshine never found herself wrapped up in the sorts choosing instead to listen to it and nod along, but always sure to add just enough to the conversation that it didn't just seem like she was there to leech. Now when she finds herself at home, she gossips about clan drama and political affairs. As far as she's concerned, she's the most interesting feline on the block. Far more interesting than others seem to think Momowhisker is.
The oriental tortoiseshell moves with purpose, slinking through the underbrush of SkyClan territory. Her paws skate easily over the pine needles and crackly fallen leaves. She's spent a lot of time lately doing a whole lot of nothing- trying to pretend like she put any real effort into fighting amongst her clanmates during the rouge attacks. In all honesty, Cocoshine's priority had been to avoid a trip to that dreadful two-leg medicine place. It helped too to know that she wouldn't come away from the event with any scars. Those rouges were too stupid and scrawny and smelly to be any real threat anyway, so why did any of the clans need her help?
Regardless, Cocoshine thinks it's time she did something to make sure nobody tries to keep her in check. She's spent plenty of time practicing her stalking and blows. The two-legs have provided her with plenty of toys to help her along, too. The pine forest is still plentiful with prey, and that prey is plump and ripe for the picking as they begin to prepare for hibernation. It doesn't take Cocoshine long before she's hot on the trail of a nearby squirrel, and she finds it even quicker as it chatters and roots around on the ground for nuts and bugs and... Whatever else squirrels eat.
Cocoshine crouches quietly in the brush for a moment, positioning herself just right before she springs forward. It's a quick and merciful death- especially for her- as the squirrel lets out a mostly reflexive squeak as she swiftly dispatches it in a single bite. "Yes!" the oriental shorthair hisses out victoriously at her catch, gazing down at it with a sense of pride and satisfaction. Her first catch as a daylight warrior. She can't want to tell the rest of the cats on her block and see the looks on their faces. Cocoshine scoops up her bounty and begins to trot loftily back towards SkyClan camp.
