↳ in contrast to his sister, sunshinekit wears the rich blue of hazecloud's pelt skin-tight against his lean body, taking on her stature as well, though he's taken on lichentails proportions. all leg and not much else as a child, he paints a sharp and rigid figure in his stiffness, and like his parents is far from anyone's 'ideal' standard of beauty. front toes and tail tip appear as though they have been dipped in milk-white paint, while underbelly and throat bear the silvered-haze of smoke. mismatched eyes of crystalline blue and vibrant gold stare boldly at all he comes across, the left side of his face marked by a patch shaped like the very thing he's named for. his expression seems to flit back and forth between a cheeky and crooked sunshine-smile, and a venomous glare and matching frown.

↳ sunshinekit exemplifies his name in the strangest of ways, his bright smiles matched by a tempare that flares just as hot in the heat of the moment. where moonlight bears a frosty but sensitive countenance, sunshine bears a friendly exterior with a sharp tongue. though sociable and friendly, making surface level interactions and connections easy enough, he is rather brutal in his mannerisms - never knowing when to hold his tongue nor hot to hide his expressions, he ends up insulting cats to their faces just as often as not. his rudeness is usually not meant out of spite, but ignorance and confusion - though empathy is clearly not his strong suit. he does not take well to criticism of these flaws either, stubborn and arrogant in his youth, though surely this is something he will grow out of - or at least, one can only hope. around his family, he is much more gentle and affectionate, though it is not on purpose - he simply sees them through rose hued lenses, the only cats in his life that can do no wrong in his eyes.

A LONGHAIRED BLUE POINT WITH BLUE EYES
Though Butterflykit arrives in this world as little more than a squealing cream ball of fur, she grows quick to display blue-tipped feet, tail, and face upon a creamy canvas of fluff. He will grow to be a somewhat short cat, evenly proportioned but notably miniature. This development will be much to her own chagrin, as she will grow quickly and heartily in her kithood—perhaps even being bigger than her sibling while they reside in the nursery—but her growth spurt will end early, leaving her to be left in the dust by all of the taller kittens.
Butterflykit lends a blue-pointed pelt from Lichentail (though lacking her stripes), and will fix her small, round ears atop his head. Her ears will contribute to the altogether roundness of her appearance, taking on Hazecloud's cloudlike, longhaired pelt—one he can only hope to maintain as professionally as she does her own. His eyes are just as round—bright and full-bloomed as a pair of cornflowers beneath the sun. As he matures, the blue mask upon her face will pale near her mouth and darken most around her eyes, painting the tickling imagery of butterfly wings upon her face. The cream of his pelt will remain the color of sun-warmed marshmallow fluff and contribute to his generalized aura of warmth in appearance.

A SCRUFFY BLUE TABBY WITH GREEN EYES
Usually found messy-furred and unkempt, Howlkit's fur will begin to smooth out with a steady diet of fish and just the nature of being short-haired. Even so, maintaining it isn't anywere near the top on his list of priorities; in this respect he's very much like Lichentail. Howlkit is gangly, even as a kitten, with long limbs and a longer tail that give him the illusion of being tall despite his incredibly average height.
His jaw is wide-set, giving his face a squared-off look with no long cheek fur to hide it. His ears are on the shorter, squatter side, but his nose is a hair longer than average, giving his features an otter-like appearance. Inlaid in his face are wide green eyes startlingly similar to Hazecloud's; an astute observer would notice they're about the same in every way, from shape to color to size. Differing from either mother is Howlkit's pelt, lined with hazy stripes against a blue-gray backdrop, interrupted by carefully-placed patches of white.
Genetically, Howlkit is a shorthaired blue tabby with low white (carrying longhair, cinnamon, solid, point). His fur color and patterning is subject to change based on who his littermate will be, but his build and facial features will remain the same!
Howlkit is, contrary to his name, fairly quiet for a kit, which as he grows will be realized into something that is neither shyness nor social anxiety, but only a lack of interest in the going-ons of everyone else. Lichentail's reserved nature is seemingly passed on to her son, who avoids strangers on principle and struggles to confide in his kin sometimes. He prefers to do things alone, whether it's bat at a moss ball by himself or just sit quietly in the corner, daydreaming the light away. Most events that would be exciting to kittens hardly garner more than a smile from Howlkit. His demeanor could be described as "subdued," especially notably for a kitten, and it may be the cause for some concern over his wellbeing before everyone realizes that he's just like that.(+) perceptive, calm, principled, genuine

Like Hazecloud, and despite his tranquil appearances, Howlkit wears his emotions on his sleeve and doesn't seem capable of hiding them when they are truly there. He's honest to a fault, vicious kitten bluntness tempered into something a little finer as he grows, but even then he'll be incapable of lying completely. (I just won't post with him in plot threads he might derail!) It's hard for him to pick up on the nuances of conversation as well, possibly a result of not engaging in it as often as he should. He automatically assumes everyone else is as honest as him, and betrayal of that enrages him beyond reasonable anger. However, he's quick to forgive and forget. He tries not to let the fact that everyone isn't like him bother him, but he's certainly not bothered if someone points out he's not like everyone else.
- Future names include Morningkit, Dawnkit, Dusk-kit (to match Eveningkit); Dewkit, Fogkit, Mistkit (which will be matched by Eveningkit changing her name to Drizzlekit); Stonekit, Lynxkit (strong names that would sound cool to him).

- Ideally, the majority of Howlkit's personality will be developed IC'ly! His aloof personality right now is just a jumping point for whatever will happen to him later in life. I think it'd be neat if some aspect of Howlkit's personality did a 180 in the future due to some major event, where he chooses to address some flaw of his by doing the opposite, like becoming more sociable or being more deceptive.
- I'd absolutely be willing to tweak Howlkit's design and personality to make him twins with the other chosen kitten if I'm chosen!

A cloud of straight-faced blue, Starlingkit looks too small for her coat, giving the impression of a walking puff-ball. Dark green eyes peer out from under her fur. Often poised staunchly straight, her movements can be aptly described as mechanical.
- Dedicating her life to fufilling her duties as a member of RiverClan, Starlingkit lives by the motto "all fun no play." When wet her long and unwieldly coat will dredge her down. Despite this as a RiverClanner who will swim for much of her life, she adapts quickly. A good solider, she always does what is requested of her, there will never be a situation wherein a request by someone will be met with a no.
- HYPOCRITE - OVERBEARING
Can be overbearing, but very fond to any younger than her. She cares deeply about the wellbeing of her clanmates. While she ultimately tries to do what's best for her clan she is absolutely a hypocrite in breaking the rules she staunchly stands by. When she develops her confidence, she steps up for everyone - while being young she tries to become somewhat of a ring leader with her siblings.
- UNDER PRESSURE: A strong sense of responsibility underlies in all of her decisions, she's determined to make decisions for everyone, putting herself under pressure.
RULE BREAKING: Breaks the rules she swears by, has a cross-clan friendship or relationship. This causes her to have a bit of a crisis in what she's always known, which way does she sway?
RELUCANT LEADER: Feels pressure to step up as a kitten, as a result she obviously pushes herself out of her comfort zone, despite her confidence being shaky, she fakes it until she makes it eventually growing into the hesitant façade she's crafted.

Shorter then your normal Riverclanner, Crescent will grow into a body full of muscle and agile movements. She isn't built for strength or exception speed, but she's agile and smart with a wealth of stamina. Treading water for long periods of time will be easy. Her long fur will be sleek and shiny, well-fed by the fish that supplies Riverclan, of which she will excel in catching.
With fur tones very close to that of her parents, her back starts dark and ghosts out to a silvery-gray on her paws. Her ears are the darkest at their head, with the trailing hair from her face lightening in color. Upon her left shoulder, low white spotting forms a crescent-moon shape, paired with two 'cloud' like shapes. White spotting circles her left eye, making it stand out in dim light. Her front paw's toes also look to be dipped in the same white. Her tail tip will also be white. Warm in tone are the pinks on her body, not so obvious against her pale fur. Blue eyes are settled in her face, serious-looking and often unblinking more then blinking.
Growing up later in life, she will have slightly 'off' appearances- her fur will be tangled here and there, but sometimes she'll spend the time to groom it, or have (her twin, which is planned to be Tidekit) help her. Her long fur will be difficult for her to manage at a young age, but as she grows older with a small wealth of pride, ego, and reputation, the more likely it is to be cared for.
KIT - A worm, to begin with. No thoughts, head empty, eat and sleep vibes. She'll slowly start to come into recognition of existing, and her strange, off-putting and cool nature starts to show. While still full of love and empathy, Crescentkit will not be known to come running if another kit falls. Instead, she'll sit and watch in careful consideration. She'll keep closer to her sibling, rely on his friendliness to skate her through the odd looks.
APPRENTICE - Upon becoming an apprentice, it will become increasing obvious that Crescent is outwardly unfeeling and unreactive. Aloof and distanced, she won't actively seek to make friends, and may spend more time softly speaking to themselves as they finish chores and the like. This may cause them to be ostracized, or made fun of- but it won't matter either way. This will slowly devolve into Crescent possibly chasing away friends and/or any potential help. She may be the most vocal/emotional during this period of time. She reserves a slightly softer part of herself for her twin, and won't be as likely to snap outwardly at them. Allowing a period of 'negotiation', perhaps.
This applies to authorities, as well. She'll have attitude, a 'teenager' mindset in a body and voice that's far more cold and ghosting then some of her peers. This may cause her to struggle in her duties, and her training, and may possibly result in her getting held back.
WARRIOR - As a warrior, Crescent is more quiet then not. She's akin to a ghost at time- floating in the background, watching in silent inaction until it become imperative she must help. When she is vocal and involved, she may come off cold and sour- which is somewhat unintended. If she doesn't like someone, they will make it known. The biggest change in emotion may occur slightly later in her life. This is the time for the greatest possibility of growth, and as such, much is unknown.
NOTE // I may change their personality up while I roleplay. I tend to find grooves for characters, and find it more enjoyable to roleplay them in a certain manner. This is loose, but I will be following it to a point.
FEARS AND INSPIRATIONS:
AESTHETICS, BASED OFF OF, ETC:
- FEAR // Authority. Not nessecarily in terms of parental or clan hierarchy, but those who march in the skies above- Starclan themselves. As seen above in APPRENTICE, this may lend into how she reacts negatively towards them.
- FEAR // Death. While still interlinked with Starclan, vigils are heart-aching, and Crescent is afraid of feeling. She doesn't want to lose her siblings, she doesn't want to lose her parents. She'll be doing everything in her power to care for her family and friends over her clan's welfare.
- FEAR // Emotion. Showing too much emotion or feeling emotion is terrifying. Coming to see cats die, and their lovers/family weeping and grieving over them may slowly drive this stake home. She doesn't want to become a burden, or even feel those emotions. Pretending like they don't exist will make them appear strong, and pretending like they don't exist allows her better grip on her mentality.
- INSPRIATION // Desires to become a strong warrior- despite the disconnection they may feel, they'll want to do what's best for the clan and protect it. It is, after all, where she lives and where she came from, even though she's putting her family and friends over the clan. Though, at the end of the day, aren't they the same?
- INSPRIATION // Hazecloud. If the story of the journey is told to her growing up, she'll see her mother as a champion- a super cat. She'll become a 'momma's girl', but will love her sire just as much.

If Tidekit isn't chosen, I'm willing to change appearance/personality a bit to match with someone else. | The moon calls the tide, and the tide ebbs and flows. The tide calls the moon, and hears little response- for it is ethereal and high above. Yet, they work together in tandem, for the moon knows just as well it needs the tide's gravity to stay near the earth.

↪ tall and lanky are the words best used to describe howlkit. ae stands taller than aer siblings, with big paws to match aer long legs. despite aer long fur, ae can clearly be seen to be thin and lanky, neither muscle nor fat clinging to aer bones. aer fur falls over aer body in waves, with long fur around aer ankles and fur resembling a mane around aer neck. aer fur is darkest on aer back, the top of aer tail, and the top of aer head, and fades lighter in a gradient going downwards on aer body. aer paws are white beneath the long tufts that cover them, as is a small blaze under aer chin on aer chest. covering aer upper body are rosettes, the tabby markings over most of aer body. on aer chest, face, and tail, stripes instead replace these rosettes. aer eyes are a light blue, a color complimenting the hues of the rest of aer very well.✦ smells like petrichor and grass

↪ there’s a lot to be said about howlkit. the thing most noticeable about aer is the fact that ae can be very judgemental of others. ae notices things all the time, little quirks of others, things they do, secrets they share. it leaves aer as an individual who knows more than ae should, and so has many opinions on others as a result. ae might not necessarily always speak aer judgements allowed, but ae isn’t very good at schooling aer expressions, so it’s rather noticeable to those around aer. ae is mostly quiet, especially as ae gets older and learns others don’t care much to hear the judgements ae makes, nor to hear aer rather more pessimistic view of the world around aer as well as the clanmates around aer. it results in aer becoming a rather asocial individual, spending most of aer time on aer own rather than with aer sibling, other family, or even just other members of riverclan. in spite of all of this though, ae tends to be a rather collected individual. once ae starts to get aer expressions under control, ae is a calm, cool individual that will not react strongly or harshly to anything. ae simply adapts to the situation at hand, unbothered and unafraid of facing down anything ae needs to face.✦ no apparent mental illnesses as a kit

SH BLUE SMOKE / BLUE CHIMERA W/ LOW WHITE
Much like his mother Lichentail, Tidekit's worries will be far more focused on his actions, rather than his own appearance. From the very first day he emerges from the nursery, Tidekit's short fur will be a somewhat unruly mess, full of fluffed-up tangles that seem to only ease up after a long dip in the water. His legs also make up the majority of that messy pelt, lengthy in comparison to his sibling but never pushing him to any significant height. His body will be ideal for long periods of both swimming and diving, things he'd much rather focus on compared to careful grooming.
In terms of coloration, it's abundantly clear where Lichtentail and Hazecloud got his prefix from. His pelt is a mesh of several different shades of blue, a reflection of the varying tides - complete with spots of white on his tail, paws and flank that echo sea foam. Being a chimera, he is not only a blend of a blue feline and blue smoke, but also gifted with eyes of two different colors. One a light blue that matches with his sister Crescentkit, and one a murky green, almost reminiscent of the marshes of Shadowclan. Also a mirror of his sister, Tidekit will be born with a unique white marking on his right shoulder that resembles a bright full moon with clouds hugging it on either side. This is the one part of him that is often kept well-groomed and flat, mainly to signify how important his relationship to his twin is to him.
KIT - Much like his sibling, in the beginning Tidekit won't truly have much of a personality. Instead he'll be mostly food motivated, a tiny presence content with occasionally yowling and shoving to get his way when it comes to making his presence known. Near the middle and end of kithood, he'll develop more into a true personality, coming off as the stereotypical kit excited to get out and explore the world that Riverclan has to offer. He'll come off as far more warm and friendly than his opposite in Crescentkit, rushing forward to help - or bother - whenever he notices something is going on. It's likely he'll try and reach out for friendship wherever he can find it in cats his age, though he tries to never stray too far from Crescentkit.
APPRENTICE - As an apprentice, Tidepaw will gradually grow into more of an independent being. His helpful nature and yearning for friendship will remain, but he'll no longer feel the intense need to feel glued to the side of his parents or sibling. Though taking more after Lichentail in terms of appearance, it'll become abundantly clear that he takes more after Hazecloud in terms of personality at this stage of his life. He'll be very honest and compassionate, trying to extend an olive branch even to those he might know should be considered enemies. Some around him may also worry about him being a touch too agreeable, with his undisciplined enthusiasm and sentiment making him an easy target for manipulation. This only seems to be more of a worry as he finds his way into every crowd he can.
Though this is the time where he'll become less family-focused, Tidepaw won't simply forget about them, especially not Crescent. His polar opposite way of being may end up clashing with hers, especially if any of the friends he eventually ends up making choose to target her as a source of mockery for her "weirdness." His family will be one area where his defensiveness and argumentative nature will rear their heads, as he'll not only defend Crescent and attempt to get her involved in things, but he'll also be endlessly loyal to his parents. He won't be keen on anyone that tries to criticize them, including those that might still be commenting on his and Crescent's birth in the midst of leafbare.
WARRIOR - When he finally reaches warriorhood - potentially held off by an incident or two - Tide will gradually grow more into his personality, and come off as more adult. Gone are the days of running up to others and asking if they want to be friends, though his warmth never truly vanishes. He will simply learn to be more cautious, likely as a result of his formerly naïve nature being taken advantage of. He won't want to repeat the mistakes of his past, leading to him being slightly more confidential. Even at this stage he'll still come off as a dreamer, perhaps just a little too wishful for the viciousness that clan life demands. There will be moments where he hesitates early into receiving his warrior name, and he'll struggle with the fallout of these incidents.
Similarly, his relationship with his parents might become slightly more strained at this phase of his life. He likely won't turn his back on them, or condemn them for their actions, but he will begin to understand more why his and Crescent's birth was criticized so heavily. Though it won't be a fact that he'll confide in either Lichentail or Hazecloud, he'll silently vow to be principled enough to not do something like have his own kits during leafbare. He'll still consider Crescent to be his partner in crime at this point, though he may grow slightly annoyed with her cold and sour outside nature, wishing that she could be just a little more feeling so he didn't feel the need to defend her to others all the time. His playful nature may eventually crack, though he'd never want to jeopardize his relationship with them for good.
FEARS AND INSPIRATIONS:
CHARACTER INFLUENCES:
- FEAR // Illness. Though Tide is unlikely to fully understand the loss of his and Crescent's third sibling early in life, it will be something that remains on his mind throughout him growing and changing. He will always possess a somewhat irrational fear of illness and the suffering that comes with it, and a false belief that their stillborn sibling succumbed to an early illness. This will lead to him largely avoiding the medicine den and medicine cat unless absolutely necessary.
- FEAR // Criticism. A fear that Tide will struggle with early on in life, having trouble accepting that criticism doesn't mean that he's a failure or disappointment to his family. This will make being an apprentice extremely difficult for him, as he won't be able to initially accept any of his mentor's criticisms and encouragements. This will be a fear that he eventually grows out of and learns to accept, but likely only after lashing out at any potential mentor he's given.
- FEAR // Scarcity. This fear will define a large part of Tide's life, and will gradually develop as a result of the circumstances surrounding his and Crescent's birth. Being born in the middle of leafbare will make things difficult for them, and while he won't really understand the full impact of things during his first leafbare - he'll be too young to remember most of it - he will grow increasingly worried and fearful about scarcity once leaf-fall and leafbare come around again in the future.
- INSPIRATION // His family. His parents and Crescent as a whole will serve as a constant inspiration for him growing up, and he will constantly want to follow in the footsteps of both of his mothers. He also sees his sister as an inspiration, admiring her ability to deal with the potentially unkind words of others. He never wants her to be suffering the mockery of others, but he will sometimes wish he was more like her in her ability to not hang onto the opinions of everyone else. His intense admiration of his parents may falter slightly as he grows older, but his family is unlikely to ever stop being an inspiration for him in adulthood.
- INSPIRATION // Medicine cats. In an ironic twist of fate, despite his strong fear of illness and everything surrounding the work of a medicine cat, he does actually see them as an inspiration to him. He admires the way they work hard to keep the entire clan safe, secure, and healed, and he will end up with a great deal of respect for them. This does not mean he'll ever want to follow the path of a medicine cat, but it does mean he will work very hard to keep his clanmates protected and away from injury so that the Riverclan medicine cats don't end up with even more on their shoulders.
NOTES AND POTENTIAL PLOTS:
- SOKKA - AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER // One of his primary parallels during late kithood and early in his apprenticehood. He will be similarly immature and somewhat abrasive, having to grow and learn that not everyone wants to be involved in his play or schemes, and that sometimes he will need to learn to be flexible and adapt to the needs of other people. Sokka's skepticism will also be a trait that Tidekit inherits later in life, as he goes through more learning experiences and accepts that he cannot automatically trust those around him.
- LILO PELEKAI - LILO & STITCH // Lilo will be another kithood and apprenticehood parallel, with both of them sharing extremely spirited and eccentric personalities that may put off the less extroverted types around them. Tidekit will also have a similar disobedient streak early in life, which may end up contributing to him getting his warrior name later than most.
- STEVE HARRINGTON - STRANGER THINGS // His primary parallel in later apprenticehood and early warriorhood, Tidepaw will be similar to a later in his arc Steve Harrington. They will share a compassion and care for those younger than them, as well as a yearning to gradually be recognized as independent beings away from their families - even if Tidepaw won't make this obvious in order to protect the feelings of said family. Both will also have a streak of recklessness and sarcasm, traits that are likely to get Tidepaw in trouble as he gradually slips from his sentimental and overly trustworthy nature of the past.
- HOBAN WASHBURNE - FIREFLY // Wash will be Tide's final primary parallel as he grows into full adulthood and embraces his warrior name once and for all. At this phase of his life he'll fill in a similar role to Wash, serving as a voice of reason to those around him while also presenting a front of playfulness and extreme loyalty. Similarly to Wash, it is likely that some in Riverclan will confuse Tide's newly cautious nature - caused by the pains of growing up - with cowardice. However, he will never abandon those that he cares for, and remains willing to risk his life for those he cares for.
- FUTURE BETRAYAL // As mentioned in his personality section, Tidepaw will be slightly too trusting when it comes to his clanmates and other cats around them that they trust. This will potentially lead to him getting betrayed in the future, manipulated by a friend into committing acts of violence that don't align with his values or Riverclan's best interests. He will be scarred by this experience, lashing out at this friend and pulling away to hopefully make amends to those that he hurt as a result of this manipulation. This will also lead to him being more cautious and less trusting in the future.
- DELAYED WARRIORHOOD // May be related to the manipulation he goes through, or may instead be related to his overall fear of criticism and lashing out at his future mentor. Either way, Tidepaw will end up being delayed in receiving his full warrior name as a result of his actions, and will likely end up being acknowledged as a full warrior after Crescentpaw. This will end up breeding resentment in him in the moment, but later in adulthood he will acknowledge that the delay was needed for him to grow.
- FRIENDS IN FARAWAY PLACES // During his apprenticehood, Tidepaw will likely be extremely excited about the first gathering that he's chosen to go to, and will end up doing everything he can to learn about the other clans. This will lead to him making several friends - and potentially rivals - of apprentices in other clans, something that may lead to conflict with his fellow Riverclanners. One of these friends in other clans may even be the manipulator in the betrayal plotline.
- SEXUALITY STRUGGLES // Over time, Tide will gradually come to realize that he has no romantic interest in his female clanmates, and will start to wonder if something is wrong with him. He will struggle with realizing he's more interested in his male clanmates and eventually accepting that he's gay, even though he isn't worried about his clanmates accepting him. He will actually be most worried about his parents, not immediately realizing that they're both bisexual and thinking they'll be disappointed in him.
- TWINNING // As detailed in the rest of this application, Tidekit will be a twin along with Dallas' Crescentkit and be extremely protective over them throughout their lives! I am willing to tweak his appearance and certain things if Tidekit is picked and Crescentkit isn't, but he is designed around the two of them being together!

As the last born kitten of the litter, Snowflakekit is noticeably small and frail in comparison to his siblings. True to his name, he is fragile like snow, and it is not known whether or not he will make it through leaf-bare. Most of his early moons will be spent in his nest, and it's unlikely he will ever step foot into the snow until early newleaf. Snowflakekit is often sickly, and struggles to play with his siblings, but despite all these setbacks, his personality shines through from the start.
In spite of his physical setbacks, Snowflakekit shows a strong determination to push through, and it is this determination that brings him from the brink of death come newleaf. While he is confined to the den for the first three moons of his life, he spends his time striking up interesting conversation with his siblings and any cat that stops in to visit, and making up stories for others to listen. By the time he leaves the den, however, his bright demeaner changes: the world is much bigger than he could have ever imagined, and it spooks him. From his confinement at such an early age, he will show significant social setbacks in comparison to his siblings who have been out and about for at least a moon, and will struggle to socialize with others and express his emotions in a regulated way. Failing to get a grasp on the world around him in such a short period of time, Snowflakekit becomes jumpy and anxious, easily spooked and showing heightened concern and worry over things others would consider minute. Because of recurring illness and general setbacks as a kit, his apprentice ceremony may be delayed by one moon to allow him to catch up with RiverClan's culture.

+ EMPATHETIC + OPTIMISTIC + HEART OF GOLDFrom the start, Snowflakekit's personality is remarkable - within the confines of the nursery, he is a determined and lively cat, never losing hope despite his frequent sicknesses and developmental delays. They will hit each milestone at a later time than his siblings, such as opening his eyes, weaning, talking, and walking - there are often times that he tries to play with his siblings and gets either injured or pushed away, as they may have already started playing a couple weeks before him.

Once his siblings leave the nursery, Snowflakekit will stay within the den, always snuggled up with his parents. Missing out on exploring the camp and spending important bonding moments with his siblings this early on will have long lasting effects, and may negatively effect his relationships with his siblings. Around three moons of age, or when the first thaw comes, if Snowflakekit is healthy he will finally accompany his parents out of the den. As he learns that the world around him is much larger and harbors more dangers than he could have ever imagined, Snowflakekit sheds out of his determined and strong personality and becomes a shell of what once was. He will become weary and jumpy, startled over the smallest disturbances as he adjusts to the scenery and cats around him, all while his siblings have likely already fit in to their full environment. This change in personality will manifest in his apprenticehood, where he is often nervous and hesitant to try new things. He may struggle to leave his parents' side, but may quickly grow a dependent relationship with his mentor as he begins to feel he is the safest around them when he leaves camp.
Snowflakepaw will be very impressionable and naive, as well as socially delayed as he was isolated for the first few moons on his life. His mental development will come later than others; he may rough-house like a rambunctious kitten, unknowingly push others boundaries, have a strong fantasy-oriented imagination (overly dramatic, unrealistic dreams and hopes, maybe have an imaginary friend), and most importantly will struggle to deal with his emotions like other cats his age would, not knowing how to express them appropriately which leads to tantrums, outbursts, and over-excitement.
Despite all of these setbacks, he is still highly optimistic, and wish some pushing from his mentor and others, by the time he becomes a warrior he will have grown out of his unreasonably high nervous levels, though total confidence in himself will come later in his life.
Overall, this is all liable to being affected by roleplay experiences! I enjoy playing by ear and developing with the canon, so as of right now I do not have any plans for his warrior personality, and most of this is just a layout for what I hope to achieve!

KITTENCOUGH AND MORE: Snowflakekit is an extremely fragile kitten, being born in leaf-bare leaves him exceptionally susceptible to illness. He will go through a prolonged, returning Kittencough as a kit, and while he may briefly leave the nursery to stretch his legs or follow his parents to food, he will not truly begin to leave the nursery for long amounts of time to explore and meet other cats until the first thaw, due to his vulnerability.
From the early isolation as well as the early illness, Snowflakekit will be vulnerable to illness throughout his entire life, often catching colds or more, and will be extremely likely to catch contagious illnesses such as greencough and yellowcough if he interacts with the infected cats.
LATE APPRENTICESHIP: Because of his delays, Snowflakekit will have his apprentice ceremony a moon or so late to allow him time to catch up with RiverClan's culture and to ensure that he will be healthy enough to start training.
DEVELOPMENTAL DELAYS: As a kit, Snowflakekit will develop later than the rest of his siblings - he will open his eyes, learn to walk, and learn to talk late, amongst other things as well. Because of his early isolation while fighting with illness, he will be significantly behind in social aspects, always acting child-like for his age, and struggling to do things most others can such as regulating and expressing his emotions, showing and expressing empathy, lacking object permanence, and having fantasy-like expectations.
He will catch up to these milestones when he becomes a warrior, but will still often show signs of child-like behavior. Basically, consider him about 2 moons behind in social development for most of his life.
ATTACHMENT: Snowflakekit will be incredibly attached to his parents, showing signs of separation anxiety when he begins his training. At a certain point, this may extend to his mentor as well, a cat who he will feel safe around from their time together as he learns to navigate this scary world. I will be open to having a relationship with another cat as well, a friend that he will cling to - in all cases, he shows signs of uncertainty when separated, and may additionally express jealousy and possessiveness over those he is closest to.

Eveningkit very much embodies the more tumultuous moments of her parents' lives; as if there hadn't been enough chaos, she is not the symbol of peace they might have hoped to grasp with the promise of a litter of their very own. At the very least, what she never fails to mention to the both of them is for certain: you'll never get bored with me!

The one thing Eveningkit never seems to forget is that she's the deputy's daughter. It gives her a certain warmth in her chest, the chest that she puffs with pride whenever she sees Lichentail by Smokestar's side, or giving out orders for patrols with authority that cannot be questioned.
That very aspect paints her view of the present and future golden, sparkling with opportunity. It gives her a spark to go off of - and is perhaps the source of her seemingly never-ending energy. She can run, yell and play all day without getting tired. She can scheme and ponder and not have her tiny brain hurt behind that smoky head. It's truly something the seniors and elders can feel jealous of; makes them remember their past selves, wonder if they had that boundless joy and desire to go out there and do things, too.
It's easy to understand, because even if she strives to make herself look complex and calculated, she is still just a kitten. (A kitten with razor-sharp teeth and fangs, so not quite without danger...) The world is big, and her so small. A kitten's job is to get lost in that very world and always be curious, so that she can one day soak up all that knowledge and become a great warrior who makes RiverClan proud.
Eveningkit loves her parents equally and the intensity of it cannot be questioned, but it is definitely shown in different ways! With Lichentail, Eveningkit is her loudest self and strives to catch her attention to pull as many compliments and approving looks as possible - and with Hazecloud, she becomes someone so much more reserved, like the smoky queen is her safe place. Eveningkit takes the most restful of naps when curled up right beside Hazecloud, and it surely is a blessing for the nursery to be so quiet.

— What Eveningkit needs to learn above all else is that her lineage does not make her exempt from consequences. It'll be a hard lesson to drill into her head, one that might make her parents' patience wane yet their hearts twist when her eyes get misty for getting in trouble... but it'll be necessary if she wishes to make more friends than enemies in the future. One lesson for this might be her apprentice ceremony getting delayed after she sneaks out of camp or otherwise puts herself or another in danger.
— When Howlkit's name gets changed, Eveningkit will demand to get a new name as well. It's in solidarity so Howlkit doesn't feel so different; something that comes from a supportive heart. If Hazecloud and Lichentail say yes, she will go by Drizzlekit to match with Dropletkit; and if not, she will call herself that anyway until she comes to terms with the fact that name changes are not supposed to be made on a whim. If the latter happens, she will receive the warrior name Eveningdrizzle so it still matches! (Either by requesting it from Smokestar himself, or perhaps with a nudge from Lichentail so a kithood dream can come true.)
— Eveningkit is the opposite of Howlkit, and she certainly tries her best to push her sister in the right direction. She encourages Howlkit to speak up and let her opinion be known, although it is kept at a comfortable amount as to not get too overwhelming. Eveningkit is extremely protective of her and will not hesitate to get into fights on Howlkit's behalf, especially if her naive side gets taken advantage of.
— In a similar vein to the above, Eveningkit might grow to be extremely suspicious and not take anybody's word at face value. This, if coming to fruition, will develop more and more as she ages; by warrior age, she will be certain that everybody has a secret motive, and she should be cautious about everything she says and does.
— If it wasn't already obvious, Eveningkit is like Howlkit's shadow, and perhaps vice versa. Wherever one goes, the other pops out from behind them too.
— In case the two's stillborn sibling gets revealed only later on life, Eveningkit will develop a more serious side to herself. It'll make her feel responsible even more; like she knows she cannot throw her life away because she and Howlkit are all Lichentail and Hazecloud has. Her emphasis on family will grow even further.
— ...and yet, if her parents decide to have another litter in the future, Eveningkit will be extremely jealous and will struggle to accept them at first. Weren't we enough? Don't you love us anymore? It'll most likely be a short-lived phase that grew out of immaturity than anything else, and Eveningkit will not act in a malicious manner.
— Eveningkit will become rather critical and judgmental, finding it easy to point out others' mistakes without thinking about perhaps taking a look inward first.
— Lichentail bringing back prey for the kits to "judge" will be something Eveningkit will look forward to! She will encourage her to keep bringing back bigger and bigger prey so that neither her, Howlkit or Hazecloud will go hungry.
— Eveningkit will be very conscious of her appearance and will take Hazecloud's teachings of grooming very seriously! She will continuously offer to help Howlkit with her messy fur too. In the future she will never fail to decorate herself for gatherings as per RiverClan tradition. Shiny shells will be her favorite thing, as well as trout scales in the stream when the sun hits them just right.
— A quick learner; Eveningkit will manage to balance on the frozen ice rather fast, and will likely understand how to hunt efficiently fast.
— Thanks to her loud personality, Eveningkit will probably grow to want to keep it up to bring smiles to others' faces, even when she will not feel particularly bright that day.

- “Blue” is their placeholder name and not to be expected to be their actual name. This way if chosen the parents can pair/match their name with ease with another slot, as the desire for a twin theme has been noted
- Sex is also undecided to once again be flexible with the twin theme. Will be chosen oocly by parents and revealed in the kitting thread. Kit will identify with their assigned gender and use it’s default pronouns.
- I am eager to play a worm kit, but must note the personality given in my application is subjected to change within their kithood. However, the general vibe of the character should not change.
- I’m not set on their design so I am willing to pay an artist to design them to be more twin-like if chosen.

SLEEK BLUE SMOKE WITH BLUE EYES / TOYHOUSE / REF
SINCE there is a possibility of their appearance changing to twin with someone, I hope y’all don’t mind I will not be taking the time to go super in-depth! They are a blue smoke with low white, blue eyes with a sleek water resistant pelt most RiverClan cats carry. I would love for them to look nearly identical to their litter-mate where clan-mates struggle to distinguish between the two, so I am heavily anticipating grabbing a new design if I am chosen.

Personality spewing until I can go more in-depth;
Kind-hearted and in tune with the community of RiverClan making them quite socialble. Has very few enemies/foes within and outside of the clan. Is well-liked, quite popular but not apart of any specific clique as they’re easy-going floating around from social circle to circle. Proud of their RiverClan heritage and often takes part in common clan activities, such as keeping up on appearances and being an enjoyer of pretty things.
Honest and simple Bluekit will tell it how it is. They’re able to put their feelings behind them with ease in order to mediate for their own relationships, the relationships of others, and their clan. It’s very difficult to offend or insult them even when insults are spewed into their ear, degrading words rolling off their repellant pelt like water. Though on their simplicity, this often results in them taking things too literally or not with the severity it needs to be addressed with.
Gullible and trusts easily, fails often to see the bad in cats or expect wrong doing from them. This extends to other clan cats as well, if they tell them they won’t OR will do something they are likely to believe it.
Very expressive in their facial features and wears their emotions on their pelt. Naturally silent moving makes them easily comparable to Hazecloud, while quick-spoken like Lichentail. -

- FAMILY MEDIATOR; (Likely for once they’re an adult) Handling emotions and personal disputes seem to come easily for Blue. Kin feel welcomed to come to them to discuss interpersonal problems between themselves and other clan-mates. More often then not they will walk away with helpful advice or at the very least, feel heard and listened to. Of course, this might not be utilized by all of their kin as some may be naturally unimposing. Still, the vibes are there!
- FISH OUT OF WATER; As an apprentice, Bluepaw falls victim to being snatched by a twoleg (a common occurence within RiverClan). Stolen from their home they are forced into the life of a kittypet only… Bluepaw likes it. They fail to attempt an escape and even are taken to the cutter. They find love and loyalty for their twoleg and are satisfied in the easy life they’ve been given. That is until they spot a SkyClan patrol from their window, reminding them of their kin and friends left behind and worried for them in RiverClan. The loss of their litter-mate, their twin, is their biggest drive to return back to the wetlands. Though their heart shatters for their twoleg they escape and return home, but adjusting back into clan-life is difficult. (1 - 1.5 month long plot).
- NO STORKS IN THE SKY; As a warrior Blue finds they want a family once they’ve secured a mate. They dream of kittens at their paws and even grieve for their lost dream-kittens once awake. Why are they unable to provide kits in the living realm? Does this cause problems for their relationship? How does Blue cope and eventually come to terms with being unable to have kits of their own? Do they find children in their apprentices or will there always be a missing spot in their heart for the kits they wish to have?
- UNBREAKABLE BOND; Though this will vary with the personality of the other chosen slot, I’d love for the twins to be unmistakenly close, even having a Leafpool/Squirrelflight vibe where they always seem to know whats on the others mind. The troubles of Blue’s litter-mate is their own troubles, if their litter-mate is unhappy they are too. While popular and a feline of many friends, no one knows Blue like their litter-mate does.
