Another night, another nest.

Last night's had been shared with a pretty little blue somali, whose nofur owner let her wander the 'yard' at her own liberty. A night in the flowerbed of her owner's garden, a moonlit rendezvous that left him in particularly high spirits this morning; there was nothing quite like the affectionate ones. Despite how good it had been though, Alabaster still left before sunrise, and like clockwork he returned to his daily routine.

A sparrow had kept his belly moderately full, and now, he wandered—the twolegplace was bustling at this time of day, with nofurs that usually ignored him and leashed dogs that he scoffed at as he passed. Alabaster had no particular destination in mind, and was led purely by his own curiosity, weaving through the labyrinth of roads and sidewalks and asphalt and nofur nests just to see what awaited him around each corner. If he had to put his paw on what he was looking for, or on why he wandered, his answer would be deceptively simple: entertainment.

Alabaster timed his crossing with the foreknowledge that one could actually see the monsters coming before they passed—an astonishing revelation!

He moved quickly, and as soon as he reached the opposite side of the road, Alabaster hopped atop a wooden fence to perch and bask in the sun while he contemplated on which direction to go in next. Choices, choices—boring nofur street number one, or boring nofur street number two?
