CURIOUS TO SEE US STRUGGLE

chervilshade must have been busy, right? she was a warrior now and warriors had things they had to be doing a lot more than apprentices did. caterpillarpaw can't help the way her stomach twists with anxiety at the thought. she means, she just wanted to see her friend but if she's too busy then caterpillarpaw can't hang out with her. it's pretty late right now anyways so maybe... maybe she wouldn't be that busy? that's what she's hoping for. she can't remember the last time they just hung out without worry or sadness hanging in the air. bringing a paw up to her face, she began to lick between her paw pads, nervously pulling at the fur in-between before heading over and finding chervilshade.

"hey chervie. you... are you busy? do you, uhm, wanna go out of camp?"

she asked, nervously flicking her ears back and forth. she hoped that chervil said yes.

/ @CHERVILSHADE

The mere thought of being a warrior sent jittering anxiety as waves through Chervilshade's feeble body. She couldn't fathom why Ratbite thought her to be ready to be a full-grown member of the clan, not when her name of kithood still rang persistent upon hesitant tongue. The molly felt almost undeserving of her name, as though she had stolen it from someone more merited. Of course, that was hardly true, but worry ate at her and left only her shell. Ghostly hum wracked through her frame and whistled through her mouth, as though trembles gnawed at bird-bone outlines, defining her by her pallid hues. The newly-annointed warrior often spent many of her hours like this, idle and not entirely present within the moment. She liked to wait for something to do, or at least for someone to pity her enough to burden her with a menial task. Familiar voice pulled her out of her stupor, and heavy head turned to face Caterpillarpaw, and the sight of a dear friend allowed peace to rest along the pools of her being. She had not been granted her true name yet, despite being twice as deserving in Chervil's eyes, though that never changed anything about her at all. "H-Hello, Caterpill... Caterpillarpaw... I'd l-love to..." The dilute tortoiseshell slowly stood up, careworn build like a stratus cloud, like she would be swept away by the slightest winds. Shaking off stray tendrils of moss and dust, Chervil gave her a tired smile as she waited for the other to take the lead.
