Wolfsong is not consistently the shortest of any group, but he is rarely –if ever– the tallest. What he lacks in size, however, he does not lack in muscle, though he certainly isn't brawny. Strong shoulders and haunches allow him to climb with relative ease, a favorite pastime of his.

His fur is thick and sun-burnished, a wheat-gold cloak draped over his limber back and lined with a silken cream underbody. Notably, his fluffy tail curls in, a trait passed down to him from his mother and responsible for his slightly canine-like appearance. His eye that remains is not unlike clear water made brighter and bluer by the day-star in its zenith, complemented by a faint viridescence.

Wolfsong's presence is never meek or docile; even when quietly watchful, there is no facet of his demeanor that reads as submissive or timid. He is not always loud or brazen, and keeps many thoughts to himself, but he is unafraid of raising his voice (or deepening it into a throaty threat if need be).

He is clever and discerning, often more so than he reveals, though it typically manifests in wordplay or insults/goading. He is capable of a great eloquence and is very fond of storytelling, with a repertoire he's memorized since he was a young boy.

To most, Wolfsong is a friendly face. He gets along well with children and will frequently indulge their games. His loyalty to those he considers part of his community (especially Sunstar and their children) is unquestionable, though he does occasionally lock horns with authoritative figures if he feels they are making an unwise decision. Still, he will heed those above him out of respect.
