A crowd forms quickly, but Bobbie only searches for one face among them. Blazestar steps forward, shadowed eyes reflecting the distance covering many leagues and moons, but when he strides forth she doesn't pull away. She doesn't dare to pull away, and she wouldn't dream of doing it now. She tips her muzzle against his, drinking in the smell of elderberry and the warm press of golden fur, the strength of a lion she's so sorely missed. When she draws back, it's with understanding instead of bitterness, a rare serenity brought upon her by his presence. His hoarse whisper is like coming home again.

The sea of cats crashes down on those they'd missed, babbling gleefully, too many faces for her to track. Twitchbolt's voice pulls her from the stupor of home and she weaves between the crowd towards him, drawing up just after the news has been broken. "Twitchbolt!" Bobbie's mew is a bright sterling cry, clear as the mountain air, excitement blooming like plumed breath. She's relatively oblivious to the stares she and Blazestar have drawn, instead focusing on greeting her Clanmates.

Crowpaw veers away, towards Wolfkit, and she watches with clouded eyes. Lupinepaw bounds over to Cherrypaw, no doubt to greet her friend, and Bobbie herself bears a rueful grin. Proper greetings dispensed with, she makes a beeline for her daughter, aiming to press her nose to her daughter's head. Pulling back, she smiles apologetically at her and Cherrypaw. "Sorry. Not trying to embarass you." Leaning back, Bobbie's lined eyes go wide with shock that's only partially faux. "You're so tall!"
