Nightswarm has a rather short build but muscles are hidden under the layers of their thick dark coat, the fur along the back of their neck slightly spiky in a way as well as some of the fur that rests upon their head. A few streaks of white along their body and appears to have a docked tail due to an accident from their earlier warrior days or perhaps somewhere along apprenticeship. There's a notable larger streak of stark upon their chest that looks similar to a bright star and their other features including a soft pink nose and burning amber eyes. Any small scars or clawmarks from previous scuffles hidden their plush coat. They usually sport a grimacing expression or half lidded eyes a lot of the time making them seem tired and disinterested in everyone/everything around them.
Despite the constant tired/disinterested expression, Nightswarm tends to be a rather cunning individual and perhaps even cynical in the way they hold themselves but holds their tongue whenever others are involved or about to do something stupid, half-interested to see if they'll figure it out on their own before everything crumbles in front of them (They find it entertaining). They try to make it seem as if they have no interest in others and keep to themselves rather preferring the peace that they receive in solitude, there's only ever a few times where they'll glance at someone without their half-lidded gaze. Due to this, Nightswarm comes off as uncaring, cold, and distant of which they express throughout their daily life.
Nightswarm being a cat of a few words and will only speak to others if they're worth their time or if they do not find themselves busy, they like to keep themselves busy rather frequently with either patrols or hunting as it puts the constant buzzing in their mind at ease. Whenever they do speak most of their words are blunt, monotonous and practical not bothering to sugarcoat anything. They don't mean any ill will from what they say but Nightswarm has a pessimistic and realistic outlook on a lot of things.
They potentially have a soft spot for their family and tries to look out for them but not enough that they're considered hovering over their siblings or their offspring, Nightswarm won't change from their usual tone or facial expression but perhaps their voice is just a pinch lighter and comforting in a way. These are more rare moments that others do not often see of them. Nightswarm is likely the same way with any of their closer friends as it isn't easy to befriend them due to how awkward, hardheaded, and holding very low tolerance for just about anyone but they try. Although, they lost interest quickly if the other party doesn't really mesh well with them and remain polite but will never actively seek them out.
Those that wrong them or their family will earn their ire and Nightswarm will make sure that the rest of that cats days are uncomfortable (ie; beetles in their nest, rotting corpse of prey, etc...) They're a spiteful individual and will certainly hold a grudge, perhaps at times they will make it seem like they are making amends with someone and seek them out almost as they would with friends. That's not the case at all, Nightswarm believing in holding your enemies close and scheming on their downfall (or perhaps the most embarrassing moment of their lives that won't be forgotten easily by Shadowclan). Each moment and heartbeat carefully calculated until they're able to pull a cruel trick.
With this ruthlessness, spitefulness, and low tolerance of other cats. If anyone were to ever bother or prod constantly at Nightswarm, they'll be quick to whip around and become rather snappish. They're not someone to be messed around with nor do they make way for play either (an exception possibly being their family), the dark feline being rather short tempered and sharp tongued. They're definitely not all talk and no bite, they will bite and they'll make sure it bleeds (primarily verbally).

- Struggles conveying emotions or how to express them, will become interesting to plot with later
- Will try to keep their kin close to them and potentially muse some tightknit bonds as they are not the easiest to bond with/like earlier said struggles to express themselves
- Primarily goes by they/them but will accept other pronouns/does not care
