──⇌•〘 INFO 〙 The newly apprenticed Sparrowpaw could use a few friends, Wolfsong thinks, and he knows no one better suited than his apprentice. Unlike Snakepaw, they supported her arrival, and what he knows of their character leads him to believe a camaraderie could form between them. So he works. He takes old moss and aged heather that will not bloom this newleaf, then fashions something of a temporary den nearby the medicine cat's tunnel. He tugs and twists the heather's many limbs until it's less of a bush and more of a partly domed ring, and he uses the moss to form a soft carpet beneath it.
He chooses a fresh mouse to set in the middle, and tucks a few flowers into the moss. Then he guides his apprentice inside of it and leaves them to escort Sparrowpaw, explaining vaguely that she should have some more time to adjust. Then he slinks away once he's told her to enter the structure, claiming to be needed on a patrol.
