Ivysting trots over to a nearby clearing, just returning to camp from a small hunting expedition. After placing his meager contributions in the fresh-kill pile upon his arrival, Ivysting took the time afterward to appreciate his safe return back to camp. With a step further into the clearing, Ivysting feels a tightness along his back as his muscles lock up. With only a small amount of complaints and a lot of oohs and ahhs, Ivysting managed to convince himself to try and get out some of the tension from a long day's work.

Ivysting lets out a sigh, stretching with a high arch in his back as his muscles burn from today's training and hunting. Creaks in young bones and aches in joints accompany Ivysting as he goes through a series of stretches, seemingly unable to release some of the tension in his back. Ivysting walks to a nearby tree with a huff, popping his back feet up and climbing the tree, leaving his front legs on the ground in a humongous stretch. A yawning whine escapes his mouth before he snaps it shut. Ivysting takes a quick glance around him, hoping nobody noticed the rather embarrassing noise he just made.
"That would've been so embarrassing." Ivysting laughs to himself, his laugh quickly cut short as he hears a rustling along the forest floor, his nose twitching with the scent of one of his clanmates nearby.

IVYSTING He/Him

"Heya Ivysting! Whatcha doin?"

Flurryjump asked, practically materializing next to her clanmate. She hadn't seen the yawn or stretching, only noticing a friendly face amongst the trees. Her tail flicked playfully, the warrior hardly able to keep still.

"Coming back from hunting? It is starting to get nicer out!" The tortie smiled, being just a tad too overzealous. She had felt cooped up for too long thanks to leafbare, and the slowly returning warmth of newleaf had invigorated her. Soon the trees would be full of leaves again! And the flowers would be back to! What she wouldn't give to lounge on sunningrocks, if only they weren't under Riverclan right now. She had always wished the two clans could share, but it never was that simple apparently.

She'd have to go out and try hunting later too! It was a nice day afterall.

Unlike Flurryjump, Chestnutroot did hear the soft, telltale whine of a yawn before she saw the silver tabby. Her lips quirk upwards, a friendly knowing look in her eye as she address the tom.
"Yes, how was hunting?" She teases, stiffeling a laugh both her light tease and Flurryjump's energy which rolls off her in visible waves. She lightly nudges the molly's shoulder, an unspoken ask to go hunting later.

⁺₊⋆ ☀︎ ⋆⁺₊ The kit-like yawn may almost go unnoticed in the commotion of the camp. If the flame point warrior hadn't already noticed Ivysting's recent arrival, she most likely would have missed it completely. Regardless of who she was watching stretch from the corner of her eye, Dwindlingmoth refused to get up from her comfortable place in the sun. She was perfectly comfortable and had absolutely no need to go over there.

Relentlessly, she shifted firmly into the chilly camp floor and allowed her eyes to close without any hint of worry. Her nosiness continued on by her long crimson ears shifting shifting subtly to better hear the chipper nonsense from Flurryjump and Chestnutroot.

Before her head could catch up to her paws, she approached the silver tabby as well. Her smile was a little more forced than that of her naturally friendly peers. "Ew you sound like an elder, don't tell me you're tired already it's only midday" Dwindlingmoth teased.

  • Dwindlingmoth is a short tempered newly named warrior with a habit of thinking with her claws before her head. Her respect and compassion for others is hard to earn but her friends have a fierce companion to call upon.

"What a midday?"

a tiny voice asks, coming up from behind the other cats.

Gigglekit had seen the other cats gathered on the side of camp, and her curiosity had won over. What had so many cats gathered in one spot? Did they find something cool? Were they playing a game? She had been slightly disappointed to see that neither seemed to be true, her cheeks puffing up slightly in frustration.

Was this just boring grown-up stuff? Her little legs had waddled all this way for nothing.

Gigglekit sat, her big eyes looking up at the other cats.
"They really elder?" She inquires innocently, looking over at Ivysting. Gigglekit had heard cats get grey when they get realllllly reallllllllllllly old, and Ivysting WAS part grey after all! But wait, her mama was grey too! Did that make Lightflower old? Was her mother an elder too?
