  • WINDCLAN SOAP OPERA LITTER
This story begins with a band of sisters, born beneath the moors with no one but each other. Young and naive, Brightshine, then known as Sunshine, fell for a kittypet tom who would leave the moment she discovered she was pregnant. Her sisters, Pollen among them, helped her to raise her two kits. When the kits were still young, a tom called Heavy Snow would join the little colony, providing support, friendship, and protection as he all but joined the family. From there, the spark between him and Sunshine would only grow, and he remained loyal enough to the calico and her family to follow her wishes to join the newly formed WindClan. After all, their home was the moorland and always had been; it was either join or leave the land.

Pollenfur only joined WindClan at Brightshine's request, but the she-cat never fit into their rigid structure. She found herself drawn to Sootstar's kind-hearted medicine cat, and then her loyal, ferocious lead warrior, Hyacinthbreath. Her bond with Hyacinthbreath was gradual, but slowly their talks beneath the moonlight would blossom into friendship. When Hyacinthbreath mothered kits on another she-cat, Pollenfur supported her—and when Honeytwist, Pollenfur's beloved mate, was exiled, Hyacinthbreath offered her shoulder to cry on.

Happiness for the family did not last. Like seeds on the wind, they scattered. Emberfang, sister of Brightshine and Pollenfur, was exiled for rebelling against Sootstar. Brightshine’s son, Mallowlark, fled in the night to be with his mate in SkyClan. And her daughter, Echolight, plucked by two-legs, unwillingly leaving behind her now-warrior children. When Hyacinthbreath was exiled from Sootstar's WindClan, Pollenfur found she had little reason to remain in the Clan, and she too defected. Moons later, the two she-cats confessed their love to one another while Hyacinthbreath took refuge in RiverClan. All that remain in WindClan from the original colony are Brightshine, Heavy Snow, and Lilacstem— the last sister— all three unwilling to leave Echolight’s clan-born kits.

Brightshine and Pollenfur would soon reunite one night at the border only to discover they are both expecting kits by Heavy Snow and Hyacinthbreath respectively. Though Pollenfur's plan is to raise her kits as loners, away from what she perceives as stifling Clan cultures, she discovers her milk has not come properly after she gives birth. One of the kits dies from hunger, and she knows if she wants them to survive she will have to make sacrifices she never dreamed of.

Brightshine's kits are born healthy, and though she knows it's dangerous to take her loner sister and Sootstar's enemy's kits under her wing, she will not let her kin die. She will raise them as her own, letting Heavy Snow claim to be their WindClan father, while their mothers--who love them deeply from afar--will be only estranged aunts who meet on the border on occasion... for now.

  • — The choosing date for all kits is September 6th. Pollenfur and Hyacinthbreath’s kits will be born September 8th; Brightshine and Heavy Snow’s kits will be born September 15th.
    — Pollenfur’s litter will age realistically for their first week of birth. Once Brightshine’s kits are born, all of them will age up once to 2 moons and will not be permitted to age up again.
    — Pollenfur and Hyacinthbreath’s kits will be born loners in Loner Lands. They will be raised by their aunt, Brightshine, in WindClan alongside she and Heavy Snow’s kits. They will ICly be known as and be treated as siblings.
    — This is not first come, first serve. The number of slots will depend on interest, but will be kept small.
    — Both litters follow realistic genetics. Please use the genetics provided.
    — If desired, you may submit a concept for both litters, though only one will be chosen if any!
    — Disabilities are permitted as long as they are played respectfully and realistically. Genetic mutations are not permitted.
    — There is no set activity requirement; however, we do reserve the right to rehome your slot with an inactivity period of longer than one month without notice.
    — There may be an opportunity in the future for Pollenfur and Hyacinthbreath’s kits to learn the truth about their mothers; until then, they will be in the dark about their heritage save for extremely vague baby memories of other cats and the Horseplace. They will not make anything of these memories alone.
    — Brightshine and Heavy Snow will raise all of these kits with love, so please don't apply with plots about feeling neglected by their parents!
    — Kits should stay in WindClan until at least warriorhood.
Please add back-up names to your applications in case the one you pick is in use already!

Cis Female, SHE / THEY | KIT OF WINDCLAN | XX MOONS

24281709_cY4qTurAlxnrlGY.png

Black & white she-cat w/ green eyes.
Long, slender and built for the moors, Violet is a lanky young cat with slim paws and a sleek frame cloaked in black fur so dark it almost looks blue/purple under direct sunlight like a raven's feathers. Where she is not dark is spotted near her mouth and cheeks, star flecked and dappled; the tips of hear ears and tail equally share this pale dipping while her paws are only occasionally touched white on alternating toes on her forepaws and entirely on her back. In sharp contrast to her monochromatic frame, her eyes are a vibrant green like the rolling hills of WindClan's territory in newleaf.

PEPPY - CHEERFUL - ASSERTIVE - FRIENDLY - PROTECTIVE
Violet is a real do-gooder type of cat, quick to offer help and even quicker to speak up when she feels necessary. Highly opinionated and proud of herself, she rarely holds her tongue in tense situations because she feels silence is as damning as opposition. Sometimes she comes across as a bit too energetic, easily keeping pace with older apprentices in her antics and always the first to volunteer for most tasks regardless of their tedium or effort because she can make the most out of even the most boring of situations. Optimistic, but not foolishly so, she is much more family oriented than WindClan is as a whole and is unlikely to let the clan's more militaristic and strictly oppressive air alter how she feels or acts.

(Brightshine inherited traits) - Despite her peppy demeanor and boisterous joy, she is very strategic and logical with a sharp memory and an excellent sense of his own capabilities. As such, while she is not exactly the most combative cat or most skilled in tests of strength she makes up for it in pure ingenuity and determination.
(Heavy Snow inherited traits) - Remains neutral and stalwart in face of overwhelming emotion, does not grieve normally and will simply push past it and continue onward as if compelled to do so. Her lack of response to death is not an indication of lack of care, but rather an understanding that these things happen and all one can do is move on. If she shows much grief she will do so in private, away from watchful eyes.
(Hyacinthbreath inherited traits) - Often impulsive by nature, makes gut reaction decisions on the spot regardless of consequences though she very quickly owns up to these instances and accepts that her first reaction is often always the one her heart demands.
(Pollenfur inherited traits) - Openly and willingly offers kindness to any cat who crosses her path, choosing to respond with empathy over hostility on instinct alone. She can occasionally come across as a pushover, though she's very much the opposite and will take firm stances on her opinions.
──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
PLOTS:
  • The Go-Getter - To make change you must first change yourself and while WindClan's hostile environment does not suit her peaceful family she strives to drown them all in her good nature, facing things not as a WindClanner but as a peacekeeper, this may lead to her stepping on the toes of authority at times.
  • A Cheerful Mask - Eventually the oppressive nature of WindClan may force her to obscure her feelings and intentions behind quiet stoicism, but she will never break from his beliefs despite this.
  • The Traitor's Child - If at any point she finds out about her true parents she will guard the secret with her life, under Brightshine and Heavy Snow she will carry the same peace loving attitude and belief that WindClan is a treacherous place and will strive to find a way to exist without changing who she is.
  • All in the Family - Her 'adoption' will never alter her feelings toward her littermates nor parents, she will simply view herself as having two sets of them and will vehemently defend her non-blood related 'siblings' with the same ferocity as the others.

General.--(--run, run don't trail behind--)
-- Finchkit (alt. names include Bravekit, Gorsekit, and Daffodilkit)
--2 moons
--Cis female / She/her
--Kit of WindClan

Appearance.--(--keep moving the beasts--)
--SH chocolate lynx point with low white / Ref (base by googaoo)
--Big-eared and big-pawed, it's clear that one day Finchkit will grow to stand above her tunneling clanmates, if her gangly limbs didn't already give it away. Her frame is shaping up to be thin and wiry, with her long legs providing the ability to race endlessly across the moors. Rather unique compared to her parents, pale cream fur is dipped in chocolate, belying her signature colourpoint heritage, and broken-down stripes of a darker shade line her tinged extremities. Graced with a downy blaze of white down the middle of her face and a feathered locket on her chest, the rest of her appearance is uniform, if not scuffed and marked from various adventures around camp. Soft blue eyes stand out from the rest of her neutral colors, and are all-the-more noticeable when held wide with wonder on an expressive face.
--( Carries )--Longhair, dilute, solid
--( Injuries )--Everyday wear and tear, small scrapes from exploring

Persona.--(--won't stop 'till we're dead--)
--Inquisitive, adventurous, stubborn, outgoing, enthusiastic, petty, casual
--Likely to be found amongst her other clanmates, Finchkit is something of a social butterfly, always wanting to be in company, whether it be good or bad. While some may grow to find her endless questions irritating, she remains relentless, wanting to know everything about how the world around her works, and this curious spark is something that she'll carry well into adulthood. She can't help it - everything is just so interesting, and besides that, she can't stand a mystery left unsolved! Combined with her general fiery, adventurous spirit and naïve lack of fear of the unknown, Finchkit is a force to be reckoned with, particularly when rules and boundaries such as 'staying out of trouble' are concerned. It's not that she doesn't mean well, but when there's so much to discover, it's hard to mind the rules sometimes, especially when those rules involve staying cooped up in camp, unable to run free. While still malleable, when her mind is made up, it's hard for an outside force to change it - this tends to manifest in persistent questioning of an individual or an insistence on that's hard to shake. Boundless passion can be skewed one way or the other, and even as Finchkit tends to remain a beacon of excitement, so, too, is this passion put towards some of her more negative tendencies. It's not easy to get entirely on her bad side, as in her nature she tends to believe in second and third chances, though she's certainly not above good-natured or even mean-spirited quips when she's feeling particularly temperamental. If she perceives someone to be rude to her, they might get the cold shoulder for the day, and then the next she might be totally back to normal, slight forgiven - though not necessarily forgotten.
--( tropes )--list, tv, tropes, here, or, stuff, like, mbti

- While my app is intended for a Hyacinthbreath x Pollenfur kit, I'm definitely still very interested in Brightshine x Heavy Snow, and I'd be more than happy to be chosen for that litter instead if my application feels more fitting. For Brightshine x Heavy Snow, the personality would remain identical - all that would change is the name (Blackberrykit, with alternative names being Raspberrykit, Hawthornekit, and Sunshinekit) and the appearance (SH tortoiseshell with high white and blue eyes, with fur tinged dusky as a kit thanks to her fever coat - Ref)
Plot ideas:
- While it's very clear early on that she'll be a moor runner, Finchkit can't help but feel a little disappointed that she'll never get to wander the tunnels and experience such a different environment; will certainly pester any tunneling siblings or friends for more information about what it's like down there, and may try and convince someone to sneak her down there to see the tunnels for herself
- If she were to ever find out about her true parentage, Finchkit will feel heavily conflicted and upset initially; may think it's some kind of prank, but once it's clear that everyone is deadly serious she's liable to lash out, especially at Hyacinthbreath or Pollenfur, as even if she's upset with Brightshine and Heavy Snow, they're still the ones who have raised her all this time; may eventually attempt to seek out a relationship with her birth parents, though she'll always view Brightshine and Heavy Snow as her 'real' parents; Finchkit's relationship with her siblings-turned-cousins may take a hit initially, with her instinctively trying to feel out any new differences, but she won't make a big deal out of it after the initial reveal; may even be casual about these new relationships, though won't be quick to reveal anything to those who don't already know/aren't fully trusted

DOWNYKIT POLLENFUR XX HYACINTHBREATH

" INSERT QUOTE HERE "
NONBINARY, THEY / THEM | KIT OF WINDCLAN | UNBORN

LH SEAL POINT WITH LOW WHITE AND DEEP BLUE EYES
A little cloud passing through the night. Small and slender like Hyacinthbreath, Pollenfur, and Brightshine beneath their poofy, messy fur. Said fur carries the long and wispy quality of Pollenfur's, though only time will tell what the wind will eventually shape it into. Downykit's deep blue gaze borders on violet; like the disgrace of both RiverClan and WindClan, or just a trick of the light to those who knew Hyacinthbreath? The blue-grays of their monochromatic fur hint at another connection to her, but only for those looking.

Downykit is born lovely and naive. Perceptive, intelligent, quietly nervous. A people-pleaser, wants badly to fit in with the crowd; "the neck that sticks out the farthest gets lopped off." Doesn't know why their mother, Brightshine, is so cheerful and genuinely can't understand how one can choose happiness in the face of all the events WindClan will see in their lifetime. Though they can't and might never grasp her innate optimism, Downykit tries their best to be cheerful too. They are relentlessly so. Maybe if they constantly have a smile on their face, maybe if they act like everyone expects them to, everyone will like them and they really will be happy all the time.

"Cheer up! It could be worse. We could be one of those kittypets in SkyClan," they'd say, though they have no real animosity towards SkyClan and still don't think they could if SkyClan attacked them back one of these days. They simply parrot what they think you want to hear, or what would make you happy, or anything that would get them into your good graces. They are astoundingly empathetic, a weakness: they have the ability to sympathize with tyrants and monsters and convince themself that what they're doing is worth it. On the opposite side, questioning their superiors comes a little more easily to them, although by the time they have the presence of mind to do so they'd be keen enough not to do it aloud.
  • (Copy of the plot from my Sunsong application) Downykit's size at 3 moons sits right on the threshold of moor-runner and tunneler. Due to the ongoing plot to build a tunnel to RiverClan, they will likely be forced into tunneling, despite their love for the open sky. Their bloodline has been molded by the very hands of these moors and their winds; it's in their blood to run the fields. They will accept their assignment with no questions asked, but will they continue to rebel in secret like their family, keeping safe the flame of passion in their heart? Or, so isolated from the rest of their family, will they begin to put WindClan first, above their family and above themself?
  • Downykit will probably be pretty religious and devoted to StarClan. Something happens in their life as a child, either to them personally or a clan-wide plot, and they'll take it as StarClan's divine intervention. They likely won't think that StarClan desires bloody sacrifices or wars in their honor, only offering a few grassland flowers and bits of fur, but could be pushed in that direction. Downykit will spin theories about StarClan, of invisible cats walking among them and sitting besides them if they're lonely; maybe they'll have an invisible StarClan warrior friend. They'd get a little jealous of the medicine cats for their connection to StarClan.
  • If I'm chosen, I'm excited to explore their brand of kindness with WindClan's militaristic society! They don't really believe in being "true to themself;" they don't have a sense of integrity and don't feel like they should. Downykit would try to be as compassionate as they can, and might not have trouble making friends in other clans, but would probably be able to throw away their reservations if asked. They're inspired by some of the kids from Ender's Game.
  • Downykit's personality is based on an old extended-game character of mine named Accipitri / Cippy
  • Ava has generously let me use this design for this litter application! I'll be buying it if accepted and making modifications to it (like changing the sparkles to little hearts)

TWILIGHTKIT POLLENFUR XX HYACINTHBREATH

aM0rEPG.png
" INSERT QUOTE HERE "
AMAB, THEY / THEM | KIT OF WINDCLAN | UNBORN

SH LILAC & BLUE POINT CHIMERA WITH LOW WHITE AND BLUE EYES
Twi is named after the rose dust and faded blue hues of their pelt, like the flush that spreads across the sky just before night falls. Their deep blue eyes only add to the effect of the heavens contained in their face, radiating outwards as though the looker stands upon their nose and watches the horizon fisheye around it. White, wispy clouds curl around their features and weave through the rest of their pale.

Aside from their eyes, which catch violet in certain lighting, and the cool gray whorls in their pelt, Twilightkit hardly resembles their true mothers in appearance. Still, many of their more subtle traits persist. They possess the diminutive and lean frame of Hyacinthbreath, as well as tall ears that always look slightly off kilter with their face. Pollenfur is visible through square-ish eyes and felt through soft, thin fur. There's a strange little marking just above their left eye.

Every bit as intelligent as their mothers, Twilightkit is among the first of their litter to recognize they cannot abide solely by their family's standards of morality in WindClan. They are as fiercely independent as Hyacinthbreath, with a tightly-woven analytical mind that catches observations like a spiderweb. They loathe not knowing things, and must have some sort of plan or structure in their life to keep them contented. As they grow older, they will tend towards losing themself in their thoughts, much like Pollenfur, spiraling deeper into their mental web of contingencies and contingencies for those contingencies.

Twilightkit is quiet, almost subdued, on first impression. They are not shy but solitary, preferring the company of themself or their family to chattering crowds of cats: in short, they like hanging out those who they know. Twi is quick to question, and early on in their training, disobey orders. They stop and think before acting, likely to the annoyance of their mentors; they're easily affected by choice paralysis. However, they learn quickly that pushing buttons will lead to scrutiny, and though they want to be as true to themself as their family is, being singled out is the worst thing imaginable to them. Unlike many other children, they lack a desire to be special. They don't want to be the worst or the greatest; the first rabbit out of the warren gets eaten, but the last may never make it out either.

They're compassionate but nonchalant about it, seemingly inheriting Pollenfur's dry wit. As with both of their mothers, they are empathetic to a fault, a fault that is especially emphasized in WindClan. Unlike most of their family, instead of being so insistent on kindness that they endure scorn or even exile, they just allow their clan to mold them as they see fit. They want to be as cheerful as their mother is, but somehow it feels...embarrassing. Twi adores their family nonetheless. It's who they are the most comfortable with, but it doesn't exempt them from their relentless questioning. Somehow, even with this independent drive, they can't help but be a product of their environment. Twilightkit wants what seems best for them and their loved ones rather than what's right.
  • I would potentially be interested in a more villainous characterization/development for them when they grow older, given their personality and birth circumstances and because I love the "used to be a nice kid" trope!
  • Twi's rigid personality doesn't lend well to coping with sudden changes. Events like Sootstar's fall and the probable reveal of their parentage will sweep them off their paws. Will they lean on their loving family and friends for support, or will their reactions lead to their trust in others disintegrating?
  • I want them to be super duper average at everything except for using their noggin, maybe even below average. They're probably going to be a tunneler with their size, but they might struggle with constantly keeping alert in the darkness instead of just tuning everything out and using the dark as a nice cool space to daydream. Their size hinders their skill in hunting and fighting, but they are probably going to be pretty good at reconnaisance and diplomacy (should WindClan ever need it).
  • I would love for them to have 1-2 close childhood friends and struggle to befriend or accidentally rebuff others.
  • Thinking that they'd fall fast and hard when it comes to romance; they're too keen-eyed to be oblivious to it, even their own feelings. I think they'd come to know themself pretty well actually.
  • Their warrior name will be Twilightsparkle.
  • Alt. names: Downykit, Rainkit, Fadingkit, Featherkit

PINK-KIT BRIGHTSHINE XX HEAVY SNOW
" ALL YOU CRAZY PEOPLE COME AND JUMP AROUND "
u66UlAS.png
CISGENDER FEMALE, SHE / HER | KIT OF WINDCLAN | UNBORN

LH TORTOISESHELL WITH LOW WHITE
Pink-kit closely resembles her mother. Warm tortoiseshell markings smatter her pelt irregularly, curling into red wisps across her body to be occasionally crisscrossed with ribbons of white. She had one orange and one white foot. Perhaps, her most notable features are her kittenish red cheeks and brilliant eyes that sit atop them, bright blue rings wrapped delicately in a warm, sunset orange– the product of sectoral heterochromia. It's clear right away that she is exceptionally small, most likely tunnel - bound in the near future

Akin to her mother and half - brother, Pink-kit is rarely seen without a smile. From an early age, she'll believe that life is a wonderful thing, and therefore you shouldn't waste so much of being miserable. She will notice right away – even if she cannot put it into words – that WindClan's atmosphere can often be a dreary and too - strict one, and perhaps subconsciously will seek to remedy this with the opposite of a withdrawn nature. This isn't to say that she rarely feels sad or angry, only that she doesn't think too deeply about her feelings, and in turn, it allows them to control her more than she controls them. Impulsive is the quickest way you could describe Pink-kit. When she wants something, she will get it, or do what she sees fit in order to. If she feels something, she will act on it without much regard to others' feelings, whether this manifests into nasty words, a blunt question, or suddenly stomping on tails. Pink-kit appears to be a whirlwind of chaos from the very beginning, thought process being a cobbling together of childish questions and answers. Others do not live in the present quite the way that Pink-kit does.

What remains true – and what her peers will likely struggle to understand – is that it's never personal. Pink-kit would struggle to ever truly hold a grudge. Though she certainly isn't stupid – those deserving of judgement will be judged – in most cases, she will not bother to dwell on opinions she has already formed once upon a time. Her family will not be exempt from her often explosive words and nature, but she will love them all the same. She often forgets what she's done in a situation the moment she is gone from it, or if she remembers, it is of no great importance to her. Were anyone to hold contempt against her for her actions – and almost certainly, someone will – it would honestly and truly baffle her. What a miserable way to live!

On the best of days, Pink-kit remains happy and carefree, having no bias when it comes to friends or enemies. She will laugh if she wants to and share if she wants to. As long as you do not get in the way of her wants and desires, you will only know her as a cheerful, loud - mouthed girl. Of course, that is easier said than done, though.
  • EXTREMELY prone to trouble - making tendancies. Often unintentionally rude, and her impulsiveness can be to the benefit or detriment of her clanmates. Would not be surprised at all if she ends up held - back for her behavior at some (or several!) points. She may learn to manage her behavior or only get worse. Heavily depends on IC.

A LONGHAIRED WHITE MOLLY WITH PALE BLUE EYES
masking red tabby, masking black, carrying dilute

an almost picturesque imitation of her father, she lies with tangled pristine white fur. her eyes do not change from their kitten-blue as she grows older. she is thin and slight, her fur giving her a larger appearance that what she really is. her nose falls down in a gentle, well-formed slope, her facial features invoke an almost eternal youthful look to her face. she walks purposefully and cautiously, placing each paw pad firmly to the ground, when she runs, however, she runs as if she were truly free. her scent is determined primarily where she resides—for now, she smells of nursery milk and kitten fluff.

  • she does not respond like the other kits. she is slower to heed her parents calls and she does not spook from sudden yowls or commotions outside the nursery. before long, after confirmation with windclan's medicine cat, she is found to have lost hearing in both ears.

because the onset of her inner ears' degradation happened in mere days of her birth, she struggles with verbal communication and is near mute as a kit. she can communicate through gestures, make noises and cry—occasionally these noises have been noted by other cats to be louder than average, though they admit it can vary. she will need familial dedication to her needs and will learn to communicate entirely based on how they decide to raise her.

    INT ●●●●●○○○○○
    WIS ●●●●●●●●●○
    CHA ●●●●●○○○○○

the world she lives in is vibrant and colorful—she feels comfort in her mother's cheery disposition and her alignment with windclan morals will depend entirely upon how they approach her. her imagination is full of colors and shapes as she thinks primarily in images rather than strings of words. she has a love of touch and enjoys feeling any sort of texture and wondering why it came to be so.

she is deeply sensitive and self-centered. and for at least the better part of her youth, she focuses primarily on her wants and needs though she is not quite ambitious in a political sense. she forms deep attachments to those she cares about and breaking her trust or forcing her to make a tough decision between something and loyalty will cause her deep frustration. her family is her heart and she is picky about who she lets in. she will be easily offended by someone who is not patient with her or does not indicate that they particularly like her, and is remarkably expressive when she makes something that she does not like known to others.

  • PRODUCT OF HER ENVIRONMENT: I love having role-play influence my character. For WHITEKIT, this is all the more important. this application, especially the info found in the FOUNDATION tab serves more as the pure core and jumping-off point for her character. I hope for her to navigate her way of handling life through the guidance and lessons that her Clan teaches her—both in communication and how she is raised alongside WindClan's trademark ferocity!

TUNNELING: We'll have to see how this goes ICly but I can imagine tunneling may be a path she would be put on, both for her size and for her natural inclination to her senses of touch and vibration. She is determined to find a way to help serve her Clan in a way that keeps her safe. She has no interest in retiring early or becoming a medicine cat.

WHAT'S IN A NAME: I'm really torn on her name—I'd like it to be somewhat ICly influenced! So I am down to discussing with the parents about those options. Alternatively, I have a potential idea where Bright and Heavy give her a very abstract name at birth (like whitekit or heathkit, or any of the happy names) that she later struggles to understand without hearing, or a name that is not applicable for the season (for example, I think "snow" or "snowy" would be a good idea for this since it was originally meant to be a homage to her father, but because it has not snowed while she was a kit she has no grounding of what it means). It creates a frustration for her because she cannot understand what her name is and there could potentially be a decision to change her name to something she can understand and have a tangible relationship with (for example, harekit or something else akin to that!). Not sure if this is something the Clans would do, but I think it might be a cool plot! I'm definitely not tied down completely to this idea, so if it isn't feasible I do not mind it being passed over!

FAKE SIBLINGS: She treats the PollenHya kits as her full-blooded siblings. She has no reason to treat them otherwise. Her view of them if the truth is ever outed is primarily dependent on her development up to that point and what exactly is told to her, but if her bonds with those kits are very close (which to me currently is the most likely scenario), she will defend them from any verbal discrimination and turn bitterly against her exiled kin.

LOVEKIT POLLENFUR XX HYACINTHBREATH

FairyIC_XY.png

IceIC_XY.png
" WE HAVE, WE HAVE, A DIFFERENT KIND OF LOVE "

NONBINARY, THEY / HE / SHE | KIT OF WINDCLAN | 00 MOONS
alternate names: mockingbirdkit, downykit, iriskit, rosekit, nectarkit

LILAC TORTIE W/ LOW WHITE, BLUE EYES
Between sire and dam, Lovekit leans more in pattern towards the latter. While not so dark in color, the two share their tortoiseshell roots. While Pollenfur's pelt is speckled with chocolate and orange in equal measure, Lovekit's own is much subtler. The hues are paler, more lilac rather than chocolate, and the red in their fur is warm and light as well, almost seeming more pink than orange in sunlight. Lilac makes up the majority, though there is plenty of the peach color interspersed throughout, scattered and speckled seemingly at random. The only break from this patterning is in the fur on his paws and chest. Starting from the top of his neck and moving down along his chest until it stops a bit into the stretch of her stomach, white creeps down, claiming a bit of space for itself. This white also coats both of her front paws, as if they were dipped in fresh paint and left to dry. A change of color occurs when you reach her eyes, which start as your standard kitten blue, but darken slightly to more of a cornflower blue after a few weeks. In stature, she is small; small paws, small body, small face, small ears. He will never grow to be very big, instead remaining rather short in comparison to their siblings. The only big things about her are her eyes, which are always wide and curious, and his steps, which are as long as possible, moving more in bounds than in steps. He has a bit of kitten chubbiness to him, and as she grows she will retain this, mostly. It does begin to melt into muscle as she trains through his apprenticeship and into becoming a warrior, but never fully, a little bit always remaining, mainly in their belly and chest.

Lovekit's name is a suitable as a name could be for a cat. Even in his youngest moons, he is kind and thoughtful, looking out for his siblings and friends as best as he can. She cares easily and deeply, often far too easily trusting of those around her, especially in an environment like WindClan's. For most of their kithood, he is naive and gullible, easily falling for whatever he is told, believing it with little convincing. After all, why would her Clanmates lie? Though even as she grows, becoming less naive, more independent, and overall learning the more truthful parts of the Clan, his kindness remains. It's something that, even with the harshness of the Clan and world around her, he is not likely to ever let go of. He can't help it. This is often more a fault than a blessing, though, as this extends even to those who would likely be looked at as enemies. Not to the point of throwing himself in harms way for a cat of a different Clan, but if she were to come across, say, as ShadowClanner in her travels, they would be more likely to stop and help them with whatever they need help with than to chase them off.

  • GENDER DISCOVERY At first, Lovekit will not know other than to go with what those around them call him. As she grows older, though, she will find out that though he doesn't mind being perceived as a girl, they do mind when she's only perceived as a girl. He will start to experiment with pronouns as she gets older, and by the time they are in his late apprenticeship, she'll have decided that any are fine with them, though he will hold a preference for those that are considered the 'main' pronouns, as opposed to neopronouns.
  • SELF-FULFILLING PROPHECY Born with a traitor's blood, a traitor they will be. Even from a young age, Lovekit will feel different, as if they don't quite belong within the Clan. He knows that he longs for something, but has no idea what for a while. This manifests in a desire to explore the land beyond the moors, and while obedience will keep her within the borders for a time, eventually they will likely begin to adventure out beyond them, trying to find her place. As he grows, he begins to connect the pieces, to see the flaws in WindClan and even in her family, who lives within the Clan without complaint, at least none that they hear. She's always been questioning, always so inquisitive, but as he grows older the questions begin to grow more pointed, hitting closer and closer to the matter at hand. What he decides to do in the end is less set in stone--maybe she'll flee, seeking out a different life somewhere that feels more right, even at risk of being branded a traitor; maybe they'll be afraid, deciding to grin and bear it and hope someone braver comes along to cause change; or maybe he'll even grow angry, refusing to be complicit, and begin to confront those that he sees as the cause of those problems he knows.

COLTKIT BRIGHTSHINE XX HEAVY SNOW
ALT ;; TALLKIT, HORSEKIT, HEATHKIT
AFAB, HE / THEY | KIT OF WINDCLAN | 0 MOONS

SH RED TABBY, LOW WHITE, HAZEL EYES // REFERENCE (click)
Born to Brightshine and Heavy Snow, the kit leans closer to their dam then their sire- color wise, at least. Flame colored pelt is stretched over this kiddos body. Long legged and gangly, it seems the short-haired kit is extremely disproportionate at his young age. Paws a bit too big, and legs and tail a bit too long to handle. Over this figure stretches soft, almost fluffy short red tabby hair. A classic tabby, red in color, is what mottles this child's pelt. Low white spotting settles over their paws and up the insides of their legs, the tip of their tail, belly and chest.

On their face, the white spreads up the bridge of their muzzle and ends somewhere past their brow. A 'mask' spreads across and underneath both eyes, white highlighting the hazel green optics set in the kit's head. The tips of this kit's ears darken, with white tufts sitting on the inside of their ears. Their fur, while soft and fluffy, may not be easily taken care of- after all, they have other spookier things to worry about.

KIT - QUIET, UPBEAT, NERVOUS. Early on in life, this kit is going to be generally upbeat- but mostly caustious. Nerves will get the best of them. Small fights between them and other kits will terrify them- they're definitely a 'hide behind mom and dad' kind of kit. However, if things get too serious, they'll become brave enough to step in and split it up. A raised voice from Coltkit will be a rarity, and will prove effective more oft then not.

APPRENTICE - QUIET, UPBEAT, SLOWLY COMING OUT OF HIS SHELL, NERVOUS. During this period of time, he'll be forced to be away from his parents and his siblings at any given time. A lot of his development here depends on what kind of mentor he's going to receive. An attentive and nurturing mentor will lead him to great things, a tough but dependable mentor will lead him to a level head. A pessimistic mentor, one who is more rough then tough, will lead him down a bad road. It should all surmise in his assessment, where he'll begin to believe himself.

WARRIOR - INTELLIGENT, UPBEAT, SLOWLY BECOMING A GOOFBALL. As he becomes a warrior, and overcomes his assessment, he'll believe a bit more in himself. He'll come out of his shell, become a bit of a jokester, but he can still be skitterish, depending on the situation. This is also up in the air as plots with Windclan develop.

NOTE // I may change their personality up while I roleplay. I tend to find grooves for characters, and find it more enjoyable to roleplay them in a certain manner. This is loose, but I will be following it to a point.

FEARS AND INSPIRATIONS:
  • FEAR // horses. they too got dang big for his tastes
  • FEAR // large birds. he doesn't want to get scooped up
  • FEAR // loud voices. not just shouting, but screaming and what not- it leaves his ears ringing and his senses frayed, so he doesn't ever react well to it.
  • FEAR // the fear of never succeeding. this is something he'll grow to tussle with during his apprentice moons, then as a warrior.
  • INSPRIATION // his family and siblings. if he ever did want to succeed, he'd want to do it for them first, windclan second.
  • INSPRIATION // also horses. while he's afraid of them, he can see how they run, how strong they are. he wants to grow up fast and strong, too.
AESTHETICS, BASED OFF OF, ETC:
  • SAWYER HILL - LOOK AT THE TIME // the nervousness, the indecisiveness, will stem from this. looking to a forward plot that may take this more literally
  • SIAMES - SUMMER NIGHTS // the VIBES. childlike wonder, growing up and getting bigger, looking around and seeing awe in everything
  • COLT - APPEARANCE // LONG leggy, white streak up his muzzle
  • COLT - MANNERISMS // leaning into how horses can spook and run from situations for seemingly no reason
NOTES, POTENTIAL PLOTS, ETC:
  • GENDER/SEXUALITY THEMES // Will grow to struggle with their gender and sexuality. During early life, will use neutral gender terms, but as they grow into apprentice hood, will start to use masculine more and more often. They won't fully struggle with it, they make confide in a mentor, older warrior, or the stars to find the answer. (Not like the stars would answer him, though)
  • MOOR-RUNNER // Given the gangly length of his limbs and how well he takes on bolting away from things, will develop into a moor-runner. He simply wouldn't fit in the tunnels anyways.
  • BULLIED? // May let him be bullied by other kits, his siblings, etc, for how disproportionate he is
  • LOST IN THE MOOR // Will run away from a tense situation and become lost in the moor for a night or two. He's either found by a close friend or family in this situation.

" Youth is easily deceived because it is quick to hope. "
AFAB DEMIGIRL, SHE / THEY | KIT OF WINDCLAN | UNBORN

BASIC PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Born ghostly white with the barest hint of lilac and cream at the very tips of her nose and tail respectively, Honeysucklekit's pelt as they age becomes a lilac at her face with white freckling across her nose and covering her chin. Her legs, though majority of other points would be colored completely, is only colored by freckles of cream and lilac respectively, the rest of her body a pale ghostly white with the barest hint of tone at the base of her spine before becoming the softest of golden cream for her tail, broken up by the dark speckles of her pattern and a white patch right under the tip of her tail. Their fur, long and cottony, seems to bounce with each step, and flow like spider silk when the wind hits just right, almost giving them a cobweb-like look. With how long and soft their fur is, it takes alot of time to groom and tends to get tangled with anything loose it touches, so it's not rare for them to spend hours picking briars and leaves and such from their fur. But what stands out on her, is the bright green-ish blue eyes that sit like oval agate stones on her face, their color closer to turquoise or teal rather then baby blue or such.

Honeysucklekit is, without a doubt, a perfect child. They never cry, never complain, always do as they're told, and don't make much of a fuss about anything. But despite having this lamb-like personality, Honeysucklekit feels... separate from the rest of her clan. It's not like she doesn't have friends or has trouble talking to others, she knows she can start a conversation with anyone around her, but they feel they lack any sort of true connection between them and anyone in their clan. In their loneliness and desperation for attachment, Honeysucklekit allows others to walk all over her, desperate for others to like her, to be her friend, anything but, nonetheless, the feeling persists. Once reaching apprentice-hood, Honeysucklekit grows withdrawn, bitter, and defensive, having grown up a doormat between her and any of her "friends", she grows to have issues trusting others and begins to start rebelling in small ways from her family. Desperate to shed their "perfect child" coat, they begin hanging with more "unsightly" members of her clan, perhaps even becoming friendly with neighborly clans. Scandalous
  • She's literally going to be the epitome of "Neutral No Longer" trope
  • Backup names are Honeykit, Nectarkit, and Combkit
  • This character will have characterization similar to BPD(Borderline Personality Disorder) and is presented through my own experience of BPD. If there are any questions or such, please don't hesitate to ask.
  • This character will not have many friends as a kit but eventually she will fall into the "bad-kids" crowd as an apprentice and do things in an attempt of rebellion.
  • She will likely grow up to be a moor-runner, having long willowy legs and somewhat broad shoulders, though they will lack any true abilities to fight and perhaps be seen as a weak-link amongst her clanmates. This makes her a prime target for bullying as a child and young adult.
  • A majority of her characterization will change and flow as she ages and the world around her changes. She is very much a reactionary character and so this form is more or less the starting point and basic guideline for how I want it to go
