I FIND COMFORT IN THE SOUND AND THE SHAPE OF THE HEART ⋆⁺₊⋆
Petalnose had suddenly turned to face the other, though she was not aware that he was closer than she thought. She didn't have enough time to dodge, so the thunderclanner was now on her back. Her balance staggered and she winced at the feeling of claws. She tripped finally after trying to catch her balance for so long, if he was larger she’d be smashed to the ground immediately but the shorter body untop of her long legs still made her fight balance. As soon as she fell she aimed to swiftly alligator roll and get out of his grasp. She knew it would only make his claws rip down her hind limbs more but she'd rather be standing then pinned. Her strengths in battle were better on her paws. If she got loose, she would aim to shove him down to the ground in return, digging her claws in his shoulders and raking them down.
Despite her injuries, she was still enjoying the thrill, seemingly unbothered by them. Adrenaline pumped through her, though surely they'll hurt after it wore off. She was excited to have her first enemy fight after her memory loss. The satisfaction was better than a spar. Claws were more involved and it was life or death. Careful thought to moves that had to quickly be chosen. Mistakes had harsh consequences. It was beautiful.
@Flycatcher (had to edit mention was rushing to hair appointment my bad)
