It had been a long and tiresome day and Perchberry finally had some time to rest and relax in camp. After having put down the prey into the fresh-kill pile he had captured Perchberry decided to rest in the shades of camp out of the public eye there he wouldn't catch anyone's attention. Or so he thought anyway. After having made it comfortable to himself in a laying position he gave some few licks to his chest to groom before he continued on to one of his paws that had ended up a bit sore after today's hunt. Perchberry didn't think it was anything to serious to visit the medicine den for and admittedly even if it had been wouldn't have gone anyway as he didn't wish to disturb the medicine cats. The last thing he wanted to do was to bother them with his sore paw. After a bit of resting for sure that would do the trick to make his paw all better. It was a quiet and peaceful day overall even if many was talking about how the sun had disappeared so suddenly just a few days ago. Perchberry had not liked that experience at all. No...not at all. He tried to not think too much about it since it gave him anxiety.

Perchberry blinked his eyes when he noticed a shadow fell over him, looking up he find Fogshore standing there staring him down. Oh no...Had he done something?. Perhaps he had taken their favorite spot? or maybe he was in the way?. Perchberry could think out at least a houndred reasons to why his clanmates could be upset with him right now. " D-do you...is there...so-something wrong?..." with me?.he asked as his heart started to beat quicker with anxiety. Moving his attention elsewhere he flinked a ear with unease, almost expected to get scolded for something.

@FOGSHORE

Fogshore was a quiet and peaceful creature. The tom was by no means a rude individual, he was well-mannered. But today, he currently had his head tilted down towards the ground, feeling the sun hit his back. He was still conflicted with the sun being swallowed up by the moon. He'd rather have the sun disappear forever, so he wouldn't have to squint his sensitive eyes whenever he stepped a paw into the sunlight.

While he had his head tilted downward, and ears rotating back and forth to hear any nearby pawsteps coming near. The feathered chimera perked up to spot a clanmate underneath some shade. He glided over towards the lone Riverclanner, slowing down to blink heterochromatic eyes down at Perchberry. He hasn't interacted with this particular clanmate, he stares at the black and white cat with a blank half-lidded stare.

Hearing poor Perchberry stumble over his words, the older warrior lets a smile curve on his maw. He waves a pale paw around while shaking his head at the other. He spoke softly towards his nervous clanmate. "No, no. Nothing's wrong Perchberry. I came over to ask, May I join you in the shade?" His long plumed tail swept behind him, while he closed his eyelids shut. He let himself settle onto his haunches, while waiting for a response from the younger warrior.

Uh, so he hadn't done anything wrong?. That was good then, made him breath out in relief but not for long because what Frogshore said next startled him. Join him in the shades?. Why for?. Perchberry was shocked. It was the first time someone actually had come out of their way to ask after his company. Because this is what it was right?. Perchberry was so disconnected from his own clanmates that he had never succeeded to make a friend in this clan. He had always wanted to but never knew how. He always messed up somehow. Never did he knew what to say. " Oh, yeah sure....i gu-guess that would be o-okay.." like always he was so ungraceful with his words. Neither did he look that much excited over this request. But on the inside his heart skipped with joy, over the fact that one of his clanmates wished to spend time with him. Perchberry had no clue what he had done to deserve a such rare opportunity but he for sure had starclan to thank for it. Maybe they had decided to finally answer his prayers.

Could I join you two?” An inquire comes from the chocolate female as she makes her way over, an introductory smile gracing her lips momentarily. The sun was particularly hot today and after an day of hunting and keeping busy, it was an nice idea to rest under the shade. She had spotted Perchberry alone but Fogshore had found himself over, eventually joining the night-colored feline underneath the shade. Surely, an added cat to the shade wouldn't bother anyone? Hopefully not, she would hate to disturb them if her companionship wasn't reciprocated.

Her long tail flicks as she glances around camp before looking back with a smile, “How was everyone's hunt today?” Hers had went well, and she noted that Perchberry also had resupplied the freshkill pile as well- but she didn't know if there was more they caught. Fogshore, she wasn't sure if he went hunting today yet or if he was going tonight, but regardless it was still nice to ask. It was always an nice thing to catch up on your clanmates lives and make simple talk, just because it made them feel closer and appreciated in a manner. The spotted feline sits down outside the shade until she's given the heads up or permission to come join them in the shade, allowing them to have their own space.
