Mutiny. It is not a word that she knows, personally, but rather it is something that she had nearly experienced first hand. "you shouldn't be our leader if you can't even guide yourself' Needledrift had said and it was so easy to read between the lines. They had been crying for Chilledstar to step down. Can that even happen? StarClan gave leaders the lives that they were bestowed but could they just take them back like that? Could a leader really decide that maybe they weren't cut out for the job after all and that they were better off just going back to being a normal warrior? The idea sounded strange to her. If she was ever leader there was no way in a million years she would ever just step down! No. She would hold on to that power tightly, jealously. And as much as she doesn't wish for Chilledstar to step down, it did give her an idea for a game. One that she had roped a reluctant participant into.
Flintpaw was a cat she had gown to recognize due to his time spent in the medicine cats den. She had spent some of her days with Starlingheart, pestering the medicine cat with questions and begging her to play games with her whenever she had a spare moment. Starlingheart was a nice cat, so she was usually happy to oblige. She wanted Flintpaw - then Flintkit - to play with her too but she was too busy being sick in her nest. Now however was a different story. Flintpaw was better and, though there is a sadness that hangs about her, she had agreed to play clan with her.
"Flintstar, your time as ShadowClan's leader has come to a close! How long did you think you could get away with it? Well, no more! We won't stand for it! I'm taking the clan back from you!" and with that, she launches herself at him with a fierce battle cry, sheathed paws reaching out to bowl the gray furred apprentice over so that she could pin him.
