So I wasn't sure if I was going to make this thread or not, but I've decided to bite the bullet.

As of today, I will be going on a hiatus from TabbyTales. Roleplaying has simply not been enjoyable on this site for me for a long time now and I've come to realise a lot of things that have made me re-evaluate how I've been treated on the site - in short, I feel left out. Writing here feels frustrating because my characters aren't allowed to have the weight that they deserve and trying to get plots feels like pulling teeth. For months I've been upset and stressed at the thought of writing here and I've done this rodeo too many times to put a hobby before my mental health. I deserve better than to feel upset because something doesn't bring me enjoyment.

As I don't see this changing with the current format and moderation of the site, my characters will go inactive but will still be in the background if anyone needs them for NPC purposes.

This was gonna be more coherent but it's late and I just want to rip the bandaid off. Thank you all for your time here and see you when I see you <3

Im really sorry to hear you've been feeling this way Punk ): but I completely understand and respect your decision to prioritize your mental health and your happiness. It's heartbreaking to know that writing here has not been the positive experience it should be for you. You and your characters have brought so much to the site, and it's going to feel a little emptier without you around. I hope this hiatus gives you the space and peace you need to find joy in your hobbies again, wherever that may be. You deserve to feel appreciated and fulfilled in the things you love.

I'll admit, the staff team and I genuinely had no idea you felt this way and I'm so sorry you've been suffering in silence. If you are comfortable with it, we would love to have a respectful conversation to learn and grow. Your perspective matters to us and we want to do better for everyone here.

Aw man Punk I'm so sad to see you : ( Really sorry to hear you've been feeling this way, it's such a shame because I ADORE your characters and their interactions, it's really going to feel quiet not having them and you around. Bit I appreciate the honesty and upfrontness regarding your struggles.
