They march in side together, she wouldn't describe it as walking as that felt much too casual. They were rivals, training partners and maybe friends but not good friends. She imagines that's what the walking casually would be reserved for. Stars litter the sky as they escape from the comforting binds of the camp without the overly watchful eyes of their mentors. "So you will not back out at the thunderpath?" There was so much carrion on those roads, she's seen a few rabbits be eviscerated by the passing monsters so maybe they could be lucky enough to catch a crossing one before it's struck. "You will have to walk back by yourself" she would rather not have to deal with a dead Rainbowpaw. Rather she would not want to deal with the questions from his mother, or even less wanting to hear from Promisepaw. He would be devastated and that thought disgusts her, though she's unsure if it's the slobbery devastation or the fact that it would just highlight how much the downy apprentice cared for him.
The march is quiet for the most part, conversation has been increasingly difficult in the passing time since their little public display of affection. Rainbowpaw doesn't seem to change but she can hear that reverence in his tone when calling him brilliant, faux or not she doesn't know. Words become stuck in her throat at the thought, so it has just been easier to be relatively silent. Always known for the fact that she doesn't attempt to speak if she cannot say the word, the same applies to nerves, she thinks it's that. That jittery feeling in her chest. As such she doesn't announce the fact that they've arrived at the thunderpath, the stench of the moors is enough to express it.
Stone crunches under paw as she shuffles by their scent lines. Watching the thunderpath with interest, it seems there had been a few victims today. "Hopefully that means more will come" she murmurs with a flick of her tail. From the corner of her eye she can see him, it is annoying that despite how plain he is he always manages to catch her eye. It's the height, and the build, she is convinced of that much. "How is Promisepaw?" She spares him no second glance, tone is as annoyingly monotone as usual. She has never bothered to ask him for his opinion, not wanting to give the illusion of caring about whatever it is he does in his free time.
Though the words don't stop coming. "If I may be so blunt, what is it that you see in him?" It was an odd pairing, they seemed fine as friends. Maybe she was just ignorant, she knows that she struggles to see things like this but them as a couple? It seemed out of the ordinary, much like seeing a rabbit when it crosses into the territory on the rare occasion. This is the only time she takes her eyes off the thunderpath, taking the time to catch Rainbowpaw's gaze.

A slick rosette fawn tabby / rosette black tabby chimera. Quiet and calculating, struggles being able to describe or identify her own or others emotions. All opinions are IC as she can be quite harsh in her judgements.
