LONELY PRINCE OF THE CONCRETE STREET // intruder


Oh, this was certainly going in a direction he was wholey unprepared for and the tabby crouched down with a hiss of alarm.
The red tabby's ears fell flat, he'd never experienced an intruder who so boldly tried to push past them and he was no fighter; he was only going to get in the way. So Sunfreckle dipped his head and inched backward to avoid being anywhere near the bodies of his clanmates leaping forward to defend and to be prepared to spring away to get backup if it came down to it. If he had to fight he would, but with Howling Wind, Cinderfrost and then Flamewhisker dogpiling the tom there was most likely no need; he did not envy the fool that sort of beating and he'd be lucky for just a few scars. There were other clans who would have been far more likely to kill him at the slightest provocation.

Another waded in to strike and it was too late to evade the claws now reaching for him, so all he could do was twist his body sideways in order to spare his head from further harm by sacrificing his shoulder. Unfortunately being a slim cat with thin fur did not play to his favour as blood bubbled hot from the latest injuries sustained.

Talon spat the blood and fur from his maw before daring to lift his head up in order to shoot the ThunderClanners a murderous glare. "Fine. I'll go, but watch yourselves next time you wander past your border lines." He hissed lowly with grim intent as he turned to sprint away, though not without first kicking out with his hind legs and attempting to catch Flamewhisker's nose. Much to his disappointment he could only run back the way he had originally come, which did bring him away from the clan camp. And as if earning a beating and then needing to flee wasn't bad enough he ended up slipping on some wet fallen leaves, twisting one of his forepaws awkwardly in the process. Still, it didn't stop him from continuing to run, even though it was agony now.
