"AT LEAST I BROUGHT BACK FOOD!" If you asked Cedarblaze how she got to this point she can’t even remember.
How it begins is this: Cedarblaze was returning from a hunting patrol with a nice vole, but all the while she is harassed by Tatteredpelt because apparently she stole his kill. That didn’t happen whatsoever mind you. Tatteredpelt is a much older warrior who tried his luck hunting in the river, but the tom had no such luck today. Cedarblaze on the other hand opted to hunt for land prey (she can’t swim this is an important fact for later) and thus the pair would have no conflict between each other.
Or so it was thought. Tatteredpelt’s nagging was grating and there was only so much she could take. Don’t do it. Don’t slap him, Kaede trusts you. Breathe. ”I would’ve caught something for the clan if you hadn’t gotten in the way,” Tatteredpelt hisses.
BREATHE! She glares at the older warrior while dumping the vole into the fresh kill pile, wanting nothing more than to get away from annoying cats like Tatteredpelt. She’s not even a tail length away from him, before she is pushed roughly enough to stumble. THAT’S IT! she turns to face her opponent and hisses. "Watch where you’re going.”
Instead she’s met with a scoff and roll of his eyes, ”Of course the outsider causes trouble. To which she hisses "AT LEAST I BROUGHT FOOD!"
We’ve finally made it to the point where it began. However, Cedarblaze hasn’t realized the commotion she is making as well as Wavepaw watching this unfold. If the young apprentice was worried a fight would break out than none would happen. Tatteredpelt would scoff and pad away.
Cedarblaze is left all alone. Her anger remains, but she knows better than to seek out Tatteredpelt once more and argue further with him. Considering that he is a well respected riverclanner. It sickens her that she must endure this along with her colony mates. Speaking of colony mates… Amber eyes land on Wavepaw.
She barely knows him, just as he barely knows her. He was really young and was practically raised here. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. The Tom carries Ripple Colony blood like her and thus she must look out for him. For that reason she smirks and calls out, "You good? Don’t worry nothin’ is gonna happen."
