i. introduction

╰ ‣ peachkit takes a little more after orangeblossom than ashenclaw. she isn't as large as her maine coon heritage implies, topping out at just a little over average in height and weight fully grown. her fur isn't feathery but fluffy, somewhat shorter than the thick maine coon pelt, yet long enough to get on her nerves sometimes. peachkit tries her utmost to keep herself well-groomed; from apprenticehood onwards her coat is tangle-free, nary a hair out of place. her pelt isn't the silk-soft purebred pelt (though she wishes it was), but she keeps it soft enough for a moggy.
peachkit's fur is predominantly a warm off-white. hues of rainy grey and orange cream splash her forehead, ears, hindquarters, and tail. daubed across her left cheek are a few spots of the same orange, with the most notable being a patch that crosses the bridge of her nose. there are a few hints of tabby in her cream patches, really only noticeable in bright light or with a close gaze. her eyes, crinkled at the bottoms in the constant hint of a smile, are an unremarkable yellow-green. peachkit's jawline is mostly obscured by her fur, but the rest of her features lean towards the rounder side

- enamoured with kittypet accessories, thinks about going to the twoleg place to trade for them with clan information
- could hold a grudge for years, never lets others live things down, but hates it when others hold her just as accountable
- tries to emulate orangleblossom's hardworking nature and adores ashenclaw, though she doesn't admire him as much
- cats she dislikes get backhanded compliments (when she's older)
- hates the rain, mud, dust, anything that causes her to spend hours grooming her coat again
- tries to decorate and style her loved ones, "lets play dress up!"
- is also the random girl at the pool who wants you to play mermaids with her
iv. relationships

╰ ‣ peachkit will adore romantic attention at first but quickly grow uncomfortable with deeper thought about it. she loathes the thought of being tied down to one cat, and doesn't quite get romantic love. peachkit only understands it as a very close friendship: together all the time, cuddling with each other, admiring their appearance . . . all things she would do with friends. she would have a litter if a close friend needed a surrogate, but otherwise she doesn't need or want what her parents have.

╰ ‣ it's easy to befriend peachkit, but just as easy to piss her off. she takes first impressions to heart and rarely changes it. she just adores those she calls friends, and is often the extrovert that kidnaps introverts to put under her wing. peachkit is heavily biased towards those she loves, and calling her out on it will only make her double down on the virtues she sees in them. on the other paw, she chafes against those who tell her what she doesn't want to hear, cats shes perceives as boring or harsh, or
plot/development ideas:
- explores the twolegplace too much or too carelessly and gets caught and trapped, or willingly befriends a twoleg to see what it's like being a kittypet. realizes she's trapped, misses her family and friends, and misses the joys of being in the wild. either escapes or burdens the clan with having a rescue patrol come and get her out. probably gets yelled at by her mom and feels ashamed but now has a more nuanced view of the whole thing (daylight warriors, kittypets, skyclan).
- mentor tingz.....maybe her mentor is a pretty harsh teacher who gets her to shape up into at least a decent warrior, whether she likes it or not. she'll have many fights and throw tantrums, initially hating them, but forming a close bond with them at the end. she knows she has to train hard in order to be like orangeblossom and ashenclaw, but its soooo hot out and the dirt is going to get in her fur and the apprentice they're going on patrol with beat her in sparring so now she doesn't like them and her mentor is just going to be disappointed in her anyway and
- maybe sees a daylight warrior struggling to do something that comes easy to her since she's a skyclan native, like use trees to hunt. she'll judge them harshly and either have a talk/fight with them or someone else about it, leading her to reevaluate her opinions and realize she's not as accepting as she previously thought she was and change that.
- warrior name ideas: peachpelt/fur (for the way she upkeeps it), peachblossom (after her mom)
