// this takes place after this private, which is still happening! Notes will be at the bottom of my post to avoid timeline errors/to reflect this
Moonpaw was upset. She had stupidly wandered off without realizing it, had put her friends in danger, had gotten surprise attacked when she really shouldn't have, and now she was fighting back tears, angry that they dared threaten to fall when it wasn't even her that had to fight the brunt of it, that had to deal with... that. She glanced over to Claypaw before looking away. She'd known the rogue somehow, had spoken to her as if she knew who she was, as if she had had similar conversations before, but despite that she'd still fought her, still helped Moonpaw and the other two apprentices that were there instead of joining the rogue as too many within the clan would think she would do and Moonpaw couldn't help but be thankful for that, for how some clanmates were wrong about the former colony members that were now a part of their ranks.
They neared the patrol now, the patrol that Moonpaw had asked to join to find flowers to give to the kittens that were stuck being kits for longer than they had been told, camellia that now lay plucked and dying on the border as the younger cats had come together to make sure they made it back to the patrol without running into another rogue, and they'd be lucky that it was just the one. As the patrol came into sight the first words that left the red-stained apprentice now were to ask for her mentor, "Can someone get Ravensong please." She'd plead out quietly, ears flattened to her head as she leaned against Beepaw for now, "There's a rogue back there." Brain rushed as mouth shut, choosing not to say anything else for now. That was the most important part. There was a rogue and they were injured and Moonpaw didn't have herbs with her to help heal, even if she did she couldn't reach her own wounds properly and didn't know if there would be anything else she'd need to help heal past the basic wounds they all seemed to wear on their pelts.

The little band of apprentices are far enough away from the border at this point for cats gathering here to not be able to see Hazel! Any threads of patrols heading out that way would be best to wait for more info from the private or from one of the apprentices saying what happened!
Moon is awake and is able to walk but is in pain, her biggest injury/worry is there are now two large claw marks criss-crossing along her shoulder blades and back and she is half-covered in mud
apprentices that were involved @otterpaw @claypaw @BEEPAW
mentors/tags @SMOKESTAR @coyotecreek @RAVENSONG but no need to wait! -
