☾ INTRO ☽
willowroot stumbled upon poppysplash on a happenstance walk, back when she was 'caraway' and poppysplash was merely 'poppy'. something sparked between them that day, and they found themselves drawn toward each other, meeting up periodically throughout the next moon. when caraway joined riverclan, fearful for her adopted child's survival and the survival of her family's legacy in the river territory, the two only grew closer. after many trials and tribulations, both riverclan and the two femmes have settled down. caraway, now willowroot, was appointed lead warrior, and poppysplash has worked to heal from her trauma. nine moons ago, the two had their first litter in the middle of leaf-bare, and had to raise their children amongst a huge amount of strife. now that it is greenleaf, the two have decided to grow their family once again. willowroot has stepped down from lead warrior, so both will have more time with their family. they hope this time it will go much smoother.
while this is a litter sign up, it will also serve as a rehoming sign up for two of willow and poppy's previous litter. feel free to apply to either, and just note in your form which one.

Blurb: Tidekit is quite calm, easily keeping her cool no matter what is thrown at her. She's adaptable and easily excels at whatever is thrown at her without blinking an eye. She's intelligent, an observer, and tends to keep to the sidelines. She isn't shy, however, and is quite comfortable talking to people, offering advice when able. However, she's quite blunt and doesn't sugarcoat her words, giving it to others how it is. While she doesn't emote much, she is a bit nosy, always listening out for rumors and gossip. Her desire for knowledge and secrets may be her biggest weakness, and that plus her bluntness may make it hard for her to form positive relationships with others.

✦ amiable, jealous, ambitious, headstrong, determined jealousy is usually portrayed badly, leading to often dramatic situations and unfixable friendships... and, well, that's exactly what antlersun will experience during her apprenticeship and very well on into her adult life. amiability on the other hand is something greatly revered by many, but typically only those that have malintent on their mind when interacting with the amiable ones.

antlersun's ambition will make her strive for a lead warrior position, eventually putting herself out there enough that she may actually receive such a title. from there it could only be higher and higher positions, and maybe even straight up attempted murder should it lean that way in the future. she's determined, headstrong, and she always gets what she wants.

don't be surprised if someone loses a life here and there when she happens to be near the scene, licking her claws of dried blood and picking the fur from between her toes. she is outwardly happy, docile, enthusiastic to help with anything and everything, but should there come a day where there is an opportunity for her to rise in the ranks of riverclan's finest, she will take that chance. even if it means killing to get there.

At a glance, Bumblekit's coat seems a medium length, but on closer inspection reveals the true length. Coiled, inky, and lustrous black fur cascades in wavelets around her soft cheeks, long neck, and fluffy tail. Enormous honey-colored eyes contrast strikingly against their black pelt and her wiry build will tone with time a promise of becoming a more durable structure as they age. Their fur will lay taut against every curvature and muscle emphasizing their agile body. Cheekbones standing out as oval eyes gleam in her striking presence.​

PERSONALITY

Bombastic and eager this little cloud believes they can take on anything with their friends and family at their side. Bumblekit is easily amused and often laughs at very rudimentary and bland hitting jokes. It's easy to see the love she has for her clan and family but don't mistake that for weakness. They will not hesitate to stick up for others and themselves when necessary. Despite their passionate commitment to always defend, they are also readily forgiving of most mistakes.​

BACKGROUND

Bumblekit will burst into the world with a loud cry, and from that moment, it will be evident that they are a formidable presence. Sweet and kind-hearted, they always have the best interests of their fellow cats at heart. Unfortunately, luck seems to have a vendetta against them, and they are plagued with comical mishaps and misfortunes, often leading to awkward social circumstances.​

As they grow, Bumblekit will maintain a positive demeanor towards the world, undeterred by past issues. She'll always be ready to pretend, tumble, and even engage in play. Their head strong desire to impress each parent and show off their natural sportsmanship with den mates will be palpable in her play fights. Getting to do the most and be the most makes their personality shine brightly. However, as the youngest with older siblings it brings an added air of arrogance. This bad attitude may color her personality for awhile and irritate fellow clanmates until she grows out of said phase.

When apprenticeship starts for Bumblepaw new challenges like the unfamiliar weight of responsibility will be a force to be reckoned with. Their ingroup, though supportive, cannot shield her from every unexpected hardship - leading Bumblepaw to question their own gullibility. Said instance will be a major turning point for them as they will have to seriously decide on their future. Despite their complicated emotional path Bumblepaw eventually earn their place in the clan facing a new wave of work and loaded expectations.

Initially, they will stumble under the pressure of their new role, but with encouragement and healing, she will learn to embrace it wholeheartedly. Throughout the journey of adolescent to adult Bumble??? clings to their childhood dreams, as they navigate the challenges. She remains a mix of clumsy charm and an unwavering spirit crafting them into a delightful and memorable individual.​

They will develop walking skills at a slower rate than their littermates. Said littermates will already be learning to run and jump while Bumblekit is still learning to keep their paws steady. However, with the added help of her parents Bumblekit will catch up. This will be a tell-tell of her life - always running a bit behind but with care and guidance they will make it through.​

─ 2 ─

Having a natural desire to be impressionable and important as a younger sibling Bumblekit may exhibit occasional sparks of rebellion, engaging in minor conflicts with elders or kits. They'll proudly boast about their relatives' strength, only to be humbled shortly thereafter. When word of their behavior reaches their family, it prompts a reevaluation. That or the elders might offer bittersweet guidance, helping Bumblekit discover a deeper understanding. Over time, this attitude will wane, and be replaced by a genuine respect for others.​

She'll be afraid of the river during their apprenticeship. Especially, after an incident of her head getting shoved below the surface unexpectedly during some rough housing. After a time Bumblepaw will come around to trusting the waves again and have a much more enjoyable experience the second time around.​

Bumble??? will be a gentle soul but have a rough exterior. Fur a mess and face always set in a grim expression. This can lead to a lot of miscommunication and difficulty in making friends. Despite this hill to overcome she often goes out of her way to verbally and materialistically show her care for others. Collecting the things they like and offering words of encouragement. Yet there will be a time when she needs someone to lean on and one of her siblings could be that rock. Developing a closer bond and solidifying her trust in them.​

(sitewide plot point) During the mass spreading of the sickness Bumblekit will develop a fear of getting ill and will show it in small ways. Such as avoiding clanmates with the smallest of colds, getting up early to stretch, always finishing meals and going on runs to maintain their health. This affect will last throughout adulthood until they feel safe enough to slow down and relax now and then.​

one look at her may be enough to discern her heritage. long legged with a willowy frame, carawaykit is built almost identically to willowroot. with triangular and wideset ears, almond shapes eyes, and a delicately tapered head, her most defining features come from her oriental blood. swirling black stripes sit on a stormy silver backdrop to decorate her pelt. her muzzle is dipped in this inky black, following over her head into a thick dorsal stripe that continues down her back. plumed with feather-soft fur, her long tail is banded into four sections, ending in a black tip. although she has no white markings, a starlit sheen dusts her chest and underbelly. a pretty feline, her face is angular and well highlighted by a feathery neck. a heavy lash line gives way to a muted pale green gaze.

❇ cares deeply for those close to her, a good shoulder to cry on. carawaykit is generally a benevolent figure, wanting to uplift her friends and family. she is not to be confused for a pushover, protecting herself and others with a fiery wit and sass. once someone has wronged her or someone she is close to, it is unlikely they'll be treated very kindly anymore as the child has yet to learn the art of forgiveness.

❇ highly romanticizes the life of a warrior. she believes that when needed, it is noble to fight and die for your clan. even as a kitten she is determined to serve, helping those who need it when she can. other times, she will busy herself and other kits with 'warrior' esque games to prepare for the real thing. obsessed with who her future mentor may be, carawaykit keeps careful track of warriors she wants to emulate.

❇ averse to unnecessary and excessive violence. however, when the time does come for her to fight she will do so fiercely and without restraint. that being said, she is much more likely to handle things in sneakier ways. a schemer through and through, carawaykit is very patient with her plans as long as she believes justice is being served. depending on the severity she can be quite cold and cruel when doing so.

❇ much like her clanmates, carawaykit has a deep respect for the finer things in life. an avid gift-giver, but she usually keeps the best stuff to decorate her fur or nest. her favorites will consist of shells, river rocks, and feathers from birds who primarily reside near the water. she has a strong desire to be well-connected to the river and believes that this will help her achieve it.

a blue smoke tom with bright green eyes ★ With such a wide frame and long legs that only enhance his stature, Tidekit has the makings to be a rather formidable warrior to Riverclan. A warrior figure he'd eventually grow into once he sheds the round and soft shapes of kitten hood. Unfortunately for Tidekit, he will always hold onto his kitten face. The roundness in his cheeks offset the otherwise angular features of his face, giving Tidekit a rather friendly appearance to balance out a very intimidating aura.

( + ) confident, adventurous, honorable ( / ) competitive, determined ( - ) careless, irresponsible, steely when it comes to the art of exploration tidekits energy meets no bounds, a kitten who's curiosity for the world they live in putting him in the most obscure (and sometimes dangerous) situations. Its not unheard of to see tidekit amass his siblings in his own games, or show them the different objects or creatures he's discovered under a rock. Tidekit loves to share his discoveries with those he cares about, and in a way it becomes his own form of love language he uses to bond with those he deems worthy.

Confident and determined, its often hard to sway Tidekit once he's made up his mind about something. Just as his namesake the tides can be unrelenting, a force of nature he carries with him through coordinated or (oftentimes) brash decisions. Tidekit never plans about the consequences of his actions, his focus is primarily in the present and what his actions could or could not do to help them in the now. He's steely in his thoughts, but whatever he does will always tie back to what he thinks will benefit his family and friends rather than the clan. Even if it isn't morally correct or just.

—--Buckkit begins life as nothing more than an itty bitty scrap of gray-brown fur, fuzzy in all the healthy ways that kittens should be. He grows quickly, his legs lengthening a bit faster than his siblings, resulting in a sort of towering big brother frame, even as his personality develops into something a little less confident. Buckkit is an odd little child. His oddly long legs paired with uneven fluff provide a sort of deer-like appearance, an intentionally decent match to his cervine name.

As he moves into adolescence, his white chest fuzz will begin to puff out into a formidable downy gorget, strengthening the connection between himself and his assumedly deer-based namesake (even if he was named for the late deputy Buckgait, it is hard to deny that if you affixed antlers to the boy, he wouldn’t not pass as a malformed whitetail.) His muscles are prominent around his chest and shoulders, leading down to strong legs that allow for easy swimming and running alike.

As an adult, he will be a full unit of cat, the most intense man you have ever seen. Sleek fur frames a severe, semi-elongated face, sleek fur that flows down into his poof of a gorget that sticks out in all directions when he’s nervous. He sports an underbite and a curled tail (it is not naturally kinked in this way, he simply finds this position to be the most comforting along his back.)

✧--OPINIONATED / NEUROTIC / PRIDEFUL
—--There is little for a young boy in RiverClan to be afraid of, especially when you are the son of two accomplished and beloved warriors. However, when there is a will, there is a way, and Buckkit has never found an obstacle that he hasn’t thought was too big or too dangerous. There is always time to whine in Buckkit’s little mind, though his crying is oft all for naught. It is just something in his mind that convinces him that everything is bad and everything is going to get him and everything…. Everything…. Everything …..everything might be okay if he went back to touch all of his shells one more time to make sure they are all in place.

Buckkit will become a bit of a collector during the course of his life (and a bit of a kleptomaniac in order to fuel his hoarding ways.) As he matures, the feeling that the world is constantly crashing down around him will not be as crippling, though he will still go back to his nest twice a day to be sure that his shells are all in one place.

He is, however, particularly vocal about the things he believes will or will not lead to sudden disaster (no doubt, much to the chagrin of those around him.) He is a bit of a know-it-all in that sense, believing that what he says is quite factual. There is a sense of pride in his own doomsday callings and he can be rather sulky when he is proven wrong time and time again. He is even worse if or when he is ever proven right.
