SKYCLAN SHELTER PLOT 2023

MASS ADOPTS​

If you haven't heard the news, SkyClan has an ongoing plot involving Twolegs snatching their cats from the forest! The cats now know where their missing warriors and apprentices are located, but they are still mystified about how to free them safely. Numerous SkyClan cats are in an animal shelter in Twolegplace, trapped in cages with strangers hailing from none of the five Clans.

This is where you come in! This is a chance to make an oc who was captured by Twolegs from the forest or from Twolegplace and play them in the shelter with the Clan cats! Form bonds, plot escape, and make (awful) memories before everyone is rescued! (If they are...)

For the most part, these mass adopts will be a free for all, though there will be some ground rules:

1. Your character must be a rogue, a loner, or a kittypet. They cannot be from one of the five Clans already. This means they should be a NEW CHARACTER.
2. Your character must join SkyClan upon release.
3. Your character must post at least once in any threads involving the shelter.
4. As with any characters, their names must be appropriate.​

-- remember, kittypets who become daylight warriors may keep their original names as prefixes, but loners and rogues either must keep their original names or get traditional clan names!​

5. As with any characters, their genetics must be realistic, and purebreds must be kittypets.​

Basic appearance: a solid white she-cat with pale green eyes. She has long fur and holds herself with elegance.
Basic personality traits: vain, ambitious, competitive, loyal, tenacious, hard-working, proud, hot-tempered
(Optional) Basic history: tw for vague mentions of abuse Angelina or Nine, is a rather secretive individual, and mostly, one can only assume her life before the shelter. With the pale green ribbon around her neck and her elegant looks, it is easy she was a proper kittypet that was pampered, who wouldn't ever survive life out in the wild. However, this would be proven incorrect as the quick-tempered girl could be considered quite feral. In fact, unknown to all but a single individual, she was nothing more than a stray born in the wild. For as long as she remembered, she only had Seven, a slightly older tom kit for a companion. They traveled together until Nine, in all her impulsive confidence, got herself captured by twolegs. She was cared for, except she wasn't happy in the slightest. Not when the home was shared by an arrogant, snobby tom named Autumn who enjoyed making her his punching bag. During a brief reunion where Seven promised he'd try to help her escape, it never came to fruition. In time, Angelina managed to escape her previous residence, only to end up in the shelter, where the young girl was bitter and sulking.

She coaxed him to go out and find his father giving him a description and pulling what courage he has he left to go and do just that. To tell him what is happening despite his own pains

PERSONALITY: Snapdragon has an outward appearance of a quiet, poised cat but upon further observation, he is nosy, loud, and a bit of a troublemaker. While they think they're good at telling secrets, Snapdragon would probably spread rumors about you, whether they realize they're doing it or not.

Goes by Snapple for short - a mishearing of his name within the chaos of the shelter that ended up sticking. Will either go by Snappaw or Snapdragonpaw. ​

— SAO (AKA. Sword Art) has been a kittypet his entire life. Runt of the litter weened too early and it shows. idiot. *spits on him*. His former twoleg often tortured him via cruel and unusual arcane methods such as moving around his little arms to make it look like he's dancing, making him gag by rubbing the bristles of a comb, and worst of all, he shares the house with a loud as fuck chihuahua. Sword Art attempts to placate this benevolent being through methods incomprehendable to other cats. Escape is an option, yes, but the hold his twoleg has on him is more than physical. Training under skyclan will become somewhat of an escape to him, but even then, he will be plagued by the paranoia of every action being overseen by twoleg eyes, and may act strangely in his own attempt to satisfy them. Sword Art completely and utterly lacks any decision making skills and is near-incapable of rational thought. Any decisions he does make are supposedly at the whim of his twolegs.

Basic appearance: A chocolate marbled tom with a small lean frame under short fur. He has olive green eyes, and a short Bob tail. Forever be pocket sized.
Basic personality traits:
♤Phobia of bugs appear after fully recovered from shelter.
♤Skittish/ Timid

♤Loyalty is torn between his No-Fur and Skyclan for rescuing him when his No-Fur did not.
♤ Attempts at being brave, can probably be strengthened with some confidence boost. But will probably run away and cover his eyes with his paws at any sign of danger. If he can't see them, they can't see him right?
♤Likes to make cute gestures, will probably try to bring a wishing feather to someone and then the white flower part will blow away, and he'll be upset with himself over it.

♤Father raised him as boys dont cry.
♤Mother raised him to do his best to be strong, and open his arms to welcome and help anyone.
♤Was adopted away from his parents to a tall female No-Fur and three No-Fur Kits.
♤Kits were rough with him, but he did enjoy playing with them.
♤He experimented his claws on the curtains which got his face sprayed with water.
♤And on the couch with got his nose flicked and loud words he could not understand.
♤It was when one of the Kits pulled his tail that without thinking he would reach out and claw the Kits face. He felt awful, didn't mean to and immediately tried to rub against the kit to make them feel better. However the big No-Fur was not happy, screaming and bopping him on the head. After a while she put him in a metal container and into a loud roaring creature. He was terrified.
♤But the place they arrived he vaguely remembered as where his mom was. Was he gonna visit her?
♤It has been about a moon and he has not seen his mother or his No-Fur. One of them will come back to him... he knows it.

Basic appearance: A small, scrawny black tom with white toes, white on his neck, and large white spot over one of his blue eyes.
Basic personality traits: Quite a bit rough around the edges, Chewsday is a hot-headed individual with no type of filter. He's arrogant and outspoken, often coming off as insulting and he honestly means it most of the time. He prefers solidarity, but will feel as if he owes a debt to SkyClan for saving his life. Although he's absolutely revolting most of the time, once Chewsday has your back—he has it for life.
(Optional) Basic history:
Born within the confines of the shelter, Chewsday was ripped away from his mother and siblings at a young age. He never really knew them and this has made him grow used to the life of solidarity and loneliness. He was named from the shelter staff as a young kid, waiting for adoption. That day finally came for him, adopted by a teenage girl, and he was on his way to his new home. Chewsday thought this was the goal, what everyone wanted. At first, everything was great until his owners came home with a baby. He went from the center of their world to an outcast, being left outside for most of the day and shooed away every time he got close to their kit. Eventually, he was left outside all the time. He'd explore the neighborhood, learned how to hunt and thought it was a great thing! He knew just the thing to help get his place back into the family! He'd bring them food! He loved that they brought him food, so why not return the favor? He was so ecstatic about his catch but inevitably it drove him further away. His owners screamed at him and made gagging noises, fretting in high pitched tones till the bigger one threw his gift into the garbage. Chewsdays heart shattered and he never went back home. He wandered the streets, living out of tin cans and fighting mercilessly over food until he was picked up by the shelter again. Chewsday was not the same tom he used to be. Now, he's a giant asshole who doesn't trust anyone and developed a thick brutish accent from living with his owners.​

Gender/Pronouns: AMAB [He/Him)

Basic appearance: Soma is a large black and white tuxedo tomcat with dark green eyes. His fur is typically shorter, but comes in a bit thicker/longer on his chest and neck.

Basic personality traits: Soma is a calm, steady cat with a good head on his shoulders. He's typically found to be reasonable and reliable, a hard worker who can appear a bit stoic at times with his quieter demeanor, but who is never cold-hearted. Many would describe Soma as a big softy, eager to protect those around him and just as eager to provide. He's thoughtful, serious, and quick to give into the whims of those around him.

(Optional) Basic history: Soma had what he considered a fairly normal life for a stray cat. He and his two littermates were born to a lone shecat, raised by her until he was weaned, and then was left to figure things out for himself in twolegplace after she was hit by a car. He split from his siblings when he was around 4 months old after they both were taken in by twolegs, and from there Soma continued on by himself for another 2-3 months before being caught and taken to the shelter, where he's now trapped.

Basic appearance: A small black cat with vivid green eyes, discoloured in the pupils by cataracts. The fur around her muzzle is greying, and she has a small nick in her left ear. She's slowed down in her old age, and her movements are starting to have the slow deliberation of an older cat. her features are most often set in a scowl. Ivy's fur is starting to thin in her old age, but it's still relatively soft.

Basic personality traits: Empathetic, proud, stubborn, wise, jealous, dramatic.

Basic history: Ivy has enjoyed a nice long life as a indoors kittypet, but was surrendered to the shelter about two months ago because her twolegs weren't able to care for a senior cat.

Basic history: Rescued from neglectful two-legs who kept Pheloneigh and many other cats on a cluttered junkyard. She had several litters by the time she was taken to the shelter, but many of her kits didn't survive the terrible conditions. Those who did survive were taken away by two-legs when they were rescued from the junkyard. Pheloneigh is quite fearful of everything and everyone, but she desperately wants to find a place where she belongs. And she feels the loss of her children very deeply.​

Altruistic and follows her own moral code, not the clans'. Serious and deadpan though has a softer side that she rarely exposes

Basic appearance: this
Basic personality traits: loving + nurturing + kind + empathetic + soft hearted + fiercely protective; Chiara is the kind of cat to put others needs above her own, endlessly giving and compassionate. Though she is kind and loving, her trust is lacking from the life she lives - and her smiles don't always meet her eyes. Nurturing to her very core, the soft-spoken and rather mild-mannered girl dotes upon everyone in a rather familial way - coming across as motherly or sisterly to those around her. She seems to lack most survival skills, though she does know how to climb from her kittypet days.
(Optional) Basic history: Lost her leg to a dog as a kitten, no longer really remembers ever having all four limbs. Fell in love with and had her heartbroken by a loner, and was given to the shelter to terminate the resulting pregnancy and be spayed. Leaves with skyclan for her future kits sake.
