• Backstory / simplified history
  Born into a travelling family of strays, Reed's early moons were spent being ferried between landscapes. One particular leg of their journey led them into the area that would become riverclan territory. An oppressive, heavy storm came suddenly and the small family was forced to leave for fear of flooding. During the river crossing, Reed was left behind. Forced to fend for themself, they became well adapted to hunting the critters on the riverbank. However the fear formed of the river prevented them from learning to swim or catch fish. After several moons alone, happenstance brought a new figure named Mahi-Mahi (now, Cascadesong) into their life. This newfound friend brought them out of their incredibly fearful shell and taught them the rough ropes of surviving properly in the area. Then riverclan moved in yada yada idk this was painful to write apologies.
